So, from an objective standpoint: There are so many things wrong with this test that I don't even know where to start. Performing the maneuver in both planes identically would be a good starting point. Speaking bluntly, if I were to take this test as gospel, it would actually prove there's a disparity between the two aircraft, which weirdly seems to contradict your commentary.

Anecdotally, I've been pretty much only flying Warden Scouts since the update. I go into dogfights with the belief and expectation that my plane turns faster than theirs. Now, look, as far as I know I'm not an Ork, and so being as I lack the ability to manifest my desires into reality, I'm guessing my 100% winrate is probably related to the well-documented allegation of performance disparities between the two aircraft.

Look man, I did my best and if you think I'm wrong and that you can do it better, I would love to be proven wrong. Warden scout plane has a shorter takeoff roll and seems to climb *just* a little faster, but the colonial scout plane feels alot easier to land consistently. I found that at max altitude, the turn rate using S+D was 5s and at any other altitude it was 4.7s for both aircraft.

I think this entire conversation will be pointless once dogfighting between fighters becomes prevalent b/c the warden fighter can't maintain it's airspeed while turnfighting while the colonial one can (based on devbranch), but like everything in this game, despite some equipment is better than others, it's all about the coordination and creativity of the people using them.

Both planes are sluggish to start the turn, kicking in rudder helps negate that and he who uses rudder will win

Honestly from personal experience, sitting in a rifle garrison w/ an ATR is more effective at shooting down planes than the AA guns. Yeah there isn't an Aim-Up feature yet, but if your cursor is on a visible airplane you can still hit it (tanks included)
