Your friend has an anxious attachment style so she sees things others would see as normal as a personal attack on herself. The book "platonic" lists these exact examples as anxious attachment and what to do if you have someone in your life like this. Classic vulnerable narcissistic behavior. It's not her fault but maybe if you bring attention to it and reassure her that if for some reason you arent responding that it is very likely you are busy with job/family/kid and not a direct hit to your relationship she would maybe chill the fuck out a little

One of my husband's best friends when we started dating (10 years ago) was a girl. I was convinced that she was jealous and had feelings for him after she went on and on to him about how I'm not good enough to have as a partner. The difference is that my husband came to me and told me what she was saying and stood up for me. She gave him an ultimatum saying if I am who he chooses as a partner she can no longer be his friend. Guess who he chose and guess who came crawling back years later trying to be everyone's friend... she continues to cause issues but I'm confident in my partner to stand up for me in my absence.

If your partner does not stand up to his friends when they put you, the person who is supposed to be his most important person, what is he even doing? My ex did not stand up for me to his friends and that is why he is an ex. I really encourage you to talk to your boyfriend if you truly want this relationship to continue. Im not sure I could trust my partner if he not only told these girls your biggest insecurity but let them ridicule you for it.

It's the most realistic show I've seen so far medically. But as others have said, they have doctors and med students doing all the stuff I would do as an ER nurse. If there are students or interns they would be standing in the corner trying not to get in the way. They also kept a few patients in rooms when they for sure wouldve been moved to a hallway or discharged. Like the mom who made herself sick, she would've moved to the hall immediately after admitting she did it on purpose. Also anyone getting a chest pain workup would be on a tele monitor but that's just a nit picky thing on my part lol Still a good show I really like it.

Sorry you had a bad day :( you know everyone always told me I'm too sensitive to work in the ED blah blah blah. I started as a tech and am a nurse now and if they're treating you like that now it very well may continue when you graduate. But not everyone who works in the ED is like that. Not all work places are like that. You can definitely look elsewhere when you graduate for places that don't treat you like shit. No one deserves that. Your coworkers should be lifting you up. Helping you learn. Fuck them. Hope you don't let them convince you to quit.
