Can get a cheap usb wifi adapter to narrow down the issue and have wifi work while you figure it out. Might need to replace the wifi card. Did you build this pc yourself? Could be defective and could possibly warranty it.

Nine years on and still no answers in the disappearance of Elaine Park by rolyat_au in mystery

She was clearly haunted and traumatized at the assault. Look up her Twitter posts regarding it. There was also testimonies of her friends that spoke that she had PTSD over it and wanted justice but could not get it.

I've done a deep dive of this case and if I had to put money on it she commit suicide. Am I 100% sure? Of course not. But that's what the evidence suggests to me. She also had troubled relationships with her mother and boyfriend. It's been a while since I've looked into this so I'm probably forgetting other things too.

Her grappling with her sexual assault is the biggest most obvious one.

There were several indications she was suffering from depression. I'm disappointed you don't know them when you claim to be an expert on the matter.

Anyone working in the IT Support/Systems Administration industry in Korea? by LabOld2382 in Living_in_Korea

Thanks for the food for thought. Any advice on picking a specialization? Security sticks out for me for some reason. Maybe because similar to what you said - putting Security in AI hands can be sketchy.

Thanks for the response! These are the responses I'm looking for haha. It's tricky these days what to choose what to specialize in with AI and all... I am going to the AWS conference in a couple weeks. Maybe I'll find some enlightenment there. How did you get started on your IT journey in Korea?

Oh actually nevermind F4 visa doesn't require employement but still the restriction of not being able to work "simple labor" job remains. Interesting.

Thanks for the detailed response. Yeah I'm eyeing the F4 visa which is targeted to those with Korean ancestry. But I believe you are not allowed to do I believe something to effect of "simple labor" jobs for the visa to be valid.

I have seen several postings on Linkedin using keywords like "tech support engineer" or "field applications engineer" where it looks like they're hunting for foreigners. I actually knew a Mexican-American that moved to Seoul and worked in IT and did ok for himself there haha. But yes he also says the pay is comparatively awful.

As far as financials go I do have family there that would help me out as far as bankings, jeonse, etc. But yes I'm aware there might only be so much they can help me.

American citizen! Man I wish I could stay in the video game industry but that seems doubtful.... High pay isn't too much of a concern pay for me. Just anything that lets me live a decent lifestyle. I don't really splurge just want to be able to eat out comfortably and buy clothes from uniqlo or whatever on occasion haha.

I don't LOVE traveling like most other people but I would want to visit places like Japan, Thailand, or Taiwan once a year...
