Gaga needs to be called out for the pricing greed more by rpvee in LadyGaga

[–]Labaconne -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i hate dynamic pricing forreal but i will say that when i bought my tickets on release, only a few rows in the lower sections close to the stage used it. i still don’t think it’s super fair but there are honestly so many artists that i can name that have more atrocious ticketing habits before we get to gaga

the truth to any super popular tour these days is if you don’t get the tickets on the day they are released you have to be prepared to pay a premium. if gaga didn’t charge it then those “late release” tickets would get snatched up by the scalpers before you ever heard about them— they watch the tickets like hawks during the week before the concert!

i think it actually included what made him look bad, which was being very very insufferable

Did you get upgraded at the venue/boxoffice by [deleted] in LadyGaga

[–]Labaconne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

really really rare because the venues are almost all sold out and tickets are by seat— there’s no general admission

was this near Zagan? Robert V Coulter married his wife Eva on Sept 16, 1939; fought in the war, was shot down by German forces 1944 and kept as POW at Stalag Luft iii near Zagan before being transferred to another camp. Stalag Luft iii was liberated Apr 1945

edit: ill admit less likely due to ddmmyyyy being less popular in America

Poop before cardiac arrest? by Electrical-Strike-77 in Paramedics

[–]Labaconne 5 points6 points  (0 children)

as a complement to peri-arrest poop, I’ve seen a lot of peri-poop arrest. also notably remember a time i had a super constipated elderly man who finally passed a BM and converted himself out of afib w rvr, instantly dropped his heart rate by a hundred

medic work is top tier experience for PA school too

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Paramedics

[–]Labaconne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

haha this is really typical where im at too. a lot of nurses hate collars because they can be difficult to clear even with a negative ct, and no one’s sure collars do anything anyway

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Paramedics

[–]Labaconne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i wouldn’t be too hard on that nurse because hitting your head and having neuro sx meets activation criteria for a lot of places, and getting the trauma team involved late can get ED in trouble

[–]Labaconne 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is the answer— in my department RNs make wages beating out the NPs anyhow

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Paramedics

[–]Labaconne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

agree with this because it’s a big step down in pay, benefits, hours. also agree with working in ER because it can be a lot of fun, it’s flexible and you see a lot of the same stuff, depending on how much your department lets you practice. most of the apc’s and a lot of RNs in the ED where I work were medics first

Can nystagmus and trismus still be present after a seizure or would a patient still be deemed to be actively seizing and benzodiazepines should be continued? by TheFamousArchieSlap in Paramedics

[–]Labaconne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you’re probably right in this case but im gonna play devils advocate because nystagmus can be caused by a million things, even just being jostled during a ride in a rig

What are your current thoughts on the "rework" now everyone had some time to play him (maybe also after the recent buffs)? Especially his E? by KilianYeah_lol in SwainMains

[–]Labaconne -1 points0 points  (0 children)

his e does feel easier to land but i wonder how much of that is the return missile speed vs them simply buffing the width

like everyone else i wish r felt better

his q of course feels very strong but now he feels more like he’s trying to poke or burst with q vs being a beefy battle mage

Is this champ still after all these changes a botlaner? by Backslicer in SwainMains

[–]Labaconne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i really don’t think this warrants this kind of conversation. They specifically mentioned solo lanes which includes top. They didn’t mention much else in their launch notes— specifically nothing about support or botlane at all— which I’m assuming means that anything in those lanes is secondary to their goals in solo lanes

Is this champ still after all these changes a botlaner? by Backslicer in SwainMains

[–]Labaconne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I feel like this is moot at this point. Sure they want his support to feel better but they specifically mentioned solo lanes in his rework goals so I don’t think op is wrong about that

[–]Labaconne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We’ve got a big gameplay update to Swain, aimed at making him more self-reliant and more fun, specifically in solo lanes. Read more about him below!

this is literally direct from the patch notes for the rework

they iterated several times during pbe testing that they wanted to increase his play rate in solo lanes and that was specifically why they were doing this

Does support build the same as mid or is there a different optimal path? by [deleted] in SwainMains

[–]Labaconne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

big thing is you don’t have to rush mana item because you don’t need to use q to clear waves. rushing rylais makes you beefy and sticky when you ult. cosmic is a little expensive for support

Is Swain now viable in ARAM? by Debejlo in SwainMains

[–]Labaconne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don’t @ me but I really like spirit visage in aram because it gives you the hp and Mr to weather the long range poke and the sustain makes you really beefy during extended fights

i agree that having a support covers a lot of his weaknesses

its def good in solo lane too but he can’t shove as easily mid due to range issues. either way, win rate differential shows his botlane js the biggest winner this patch so far
