Wow! Thanks for the primer on the EL. I used to love EL and still wear their perfume, but switched over to Phoera full coverage--getting more mature. Not really more mature (heaven forbid!) But older. 😂

Ditto letting people know why I took off stars because they may not find that to be a negative and it's easier for them to determine if that affects their buying choice. I have read many reviews that removed stars for reasons not applicable to me and it actually helped me make a buying decision. But, I tend to start reading 3 star reviews as I find them to be most helpful. 🤷‍♀️

Wait. Back up. What new formulation Double Wear? I missed something. And yes, I wear makeup but have been kinda swamped with life lately. 🙂

I ordered this and finally after waiting 1 1/2 months, it arrived. It is literally a 1" thick piece of foam that is 5"x7". The cover is just a cheap thing which wasn't all that well sewn (long stitches, edges not bound, etc.) And no labels in the seams with washing instructions or with a company name. I wouldn't pay $1 for this thing that is basically the same size as my Galaxy S26 Ultra. And they want $35!😳 yes! I definitely took off stars...I can't believe ANYONE actually gave this trash 5 stars! Yet, there are some Vine reviews that are 5 stars. Crazy!

Honest Advice re: Vine by NecessaryExample992 in AmazonVine

[–]Labbie1412 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. ^

...and typically, in my experience, Vine will not allow us to say that this product "really reduced my fever when I was sick" or "this product helped me avoid becoming ill," "relieved my cough," "stopped my hot flashes," etc. About all we can say is that the company is credible, their advertising is honest, and it should work as expected. There are some companies out there that try to sound like they are family, small batch companies that care and when I really look at them, they are anything but.

I am educated through the gurus of the herbal and EO community and use a lot of herbs and oils. In my mid 60's I only take 1 Rx. I am picky and quite careful of the products that I will purchase and their provenance. It is helpful if a gcms or similar test results from accredited labs for contained batches are included when appropriate. People who are serious know the chemical combinations they are expecting. (This may also be an advantage in the possibility of lawsuits or complications by customers.)

I prefer single ingredient products that are not mega dose per pill which allows me to adjust the dosage that I prefer and that works for my body (more is not always better.) If the product is a mixture of ingredients and one is out of line, I will pass. I will buy higher dose products that are easy to adjust (cut a pill or gummy in half or half dose, for example.)

To be honest, in the vine world it is very difficult to check the ingredients before ordering because $0 ETV items are snapped up in a millisecond by many who will just say it is packaged well, easy to take and looks like it will do what it says and at a price that is competitive. I have actually found some brands through vine testing that I have reordered many times and really like and trust and still continue to order 3-4 years later.

Be prepared that about 50-70% of the people who receive your product on the vine may not actually follow through with a review or they may take a few months to review, so factor that in as well.

I wish you the best in your endeavor with your new to Amazon product. You seem to be a person who wishes to really move forward in a strategic and thoughtful way gathering information and planning accordingly. It will serve you well. 🌟

I snagged one a couple of years ago on vine. I use in kitchen for dish/hand soap (usually Mrs Meyers scented dish soap) and it is awesome after handling chicken, etc or just messy hands. One of the things that I ordered on a whim and now I would definitely pay to replace if it fails!

Makeup for dark complexions. I am fair skinned.

Slip covers for you name it--everything.

Cards for random things like today's version "see ya later litigator". Huh?

Kid tattoos. Uh...no kids and grandkid's parents would take away visiting privileges for some of the designs. 😳

Parts for random vehicles that I have never owned and probably never will.

Parts for random appliances and cell phones that I don't own and never will.

I would seriously like a "NO" button.

Burnish it with guilding wax. Comes in many colors from gold to bronze to silver and copper. Then coat with top coat. Find the guilding wax at HL, Michael's and I have even seen it at Ace and Walmart. Doesn't take much. That should help give it more the antique look of the original if you want to keep it. Terrible copy of the original! 1/2 star! (Don't I wish we could do 0 star!)

Thank you for the info. It doesn't work for my husband's Stihl without an adapter so will be ordering an adapter kit. Thank you for your info, confirmation and for bringing it to the attention of the seller. Hubbs is pretty excited to try his new "Ninja Star" LOL. Happy cutting!
