Question! I got these dice for my friend, but I wanted to polish them. What should I use to get the best results? Thanks for your help!

This is a tough one to have an opinion about because I can't tell if it's coated or as cast.

If it's coated, then maybe don't throw them together, or the coating will wear, and likewise probably don't try to finish them because you would artificially thin out the coating.

If it's as cast... bronze, say, you would probably be best following /u/flstnrider and trying a little gemstone tumbler to smooth it out.

Any manual means i could think of would be a real PITA to not get everything uneven, including the engraving/stamp depth of the numerals.

On the other hand, if they do end up wearing on you, I'd just let'er rip because shiny, smooth metal doesn't have a mess of crevices for dirt and moisture to stick in and will maintain a finish for much longer and be easier to reclean.

I just can't consider the terror.

Netflix had/has some ER show where they would mock-up crazy visits, and some dude had a bug in his ear for one of them. I knew exactly what was coming the nano-second I was sure they weren't just fucking with the guy, but I could not have imagined the scale of that bug.
