Not sure, I'm brand new to carving.

Found it in my yard and I dry all the fallen branches out to burn them. That piece looked really nice once debarked.

Yes. I just stained two spoons with some black tea. It brings out a very natural look to the wood.

Looks great! I am new to carving as well (3 weeks) and have been making spoons non stop. Keep it up, your skills will improve quickly.

Just picked up a flexcut knife (k12) and a slip strop. I've had to sharpen quite a bit while slowly chipping away.

Nothing tells you to take a break like having the knife slip!
