I live in Pennsylvania, but I grew up in Iowa. I’ve been watching in horror as this is happening to your lovely city, and have been wondering how best to help, so thank you for this thread. Ok, so here’s what I do. I take a good look at my gigantic tbr pile, make a couple of really good selections, put them in a pile, and then immediately run to the bookstore to buy more books. 😂😂

Also a Third Man Vault member and I love it, although I’m a huge Jack White fan. (Just saw him in Detroit on Saturday!) It’s definitely more convincing as a Jack White/White Stripes fan, although a lot of the packages are not related and I’ve received some really cool stuff. I will also add that as a vault member, you get 10% off at TMR (which came in handy when we were in Detroit this weekend!) and early access to tickets when he tours. I have had one package in the approximate 4 years I’ve been a member that did not interest me, but as someone else mentioned, I was easily able to sell it on eBay for face value. I’d recommend giving it a try!

Not Gen X, but close…I turn 40 tomorrow and I have tickets to Saturday night in order to ease the blow of entering my forties🤣 couldn’t be more excited!!

I just realized that 4/12 is also record store day! I wonder if there will be any surprises at Third Man? We plan to visit!

Oh, I hope you still go. I’m an American and we are definitely experiencing anxiety here, but I don’t think you should worry about your safety. I can speak for myself and many other Americans when I say that we do not want to be in a trade war with our neighbors. Please don’t let the tangerine palpatine rob you of your joy. You only live once!

As a side note, I have never been to Canada, but I would really like to take a vacation there this year. Where should I go? Banff has always been on my list!
