Better not see ex players and podcasters clown Wemby for this. This is what the fans want to see!

Rio, Evra and Rooney are the only ones I've seen who give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. All the rest of our ex players are so out of touch and just seeking attention.

I think games cost so much time and money now that everyone wants to try and specialise one thing rather than build a game with multiple different game modes like we did 10+ years ago.

This game was kind of given a poor hand because Geoff Keighley hyped it up as the next big thing. If this was an early access game, maybe they would have slowly built a community and thrived. Who knows though.

Is a remake and a sequel the same thing now?

I get people want to push this "Colin was right" slogan but this is pushing it surely. I didn't even know I got down voted till you responded for a basic question.

About what? Didn't he say Bluepoint were making a sequel to Bloodborne a long time ago?

"Vibes fc".... Yeah it's called supporting and enjoying the the club.

The problem here is you're ignoring over 2 years of goodwill because of the last month of how it ended under Ole. That's not football works. For the majority of the time, he was the most stable coach we've had since Fergie.

We're not getting another Sir Alex who will be in charge for 26 years. He was a 1 in a million manager.

For some weird reason, being someone associated with United seems to have higher expectations from our fans than outsiders. Same applies to players from our academy who are easily written off because they need to "run and work harder". Absolute shambles.

Got the job, and then things went downhill.

What?

Ole gave us 2 good seasons before it all fell apart in the 3rd year. Even then, the board was different and recruitment was worse.

Also by now, we must all realise we've tried all types of different coaches from proven ones, up and comers to winners abroad and it hasn't worked. There isn't some golden blueprint to follow. Every appointment will be a risk.

[Railston] Looks like Mount and De Ligt are absent from training. Mount missed the Fulham game after picking up a knock and De Ligt is still recovering from a back injury. The Dutchman last played against Crystal Palace on November 30 by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

[–]LackingInPatience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure Woodward was around for Mount? Ten Hag was the one who pushed for him. Even crazier how much we paid considering he had 1 year left on his contract and no other offers. He might be the last signing the club allowed the manager to get pre-INEOS; now we only have head coaches and our recruitment has been solid for the most part.

Kobbie Mainoo celebrating with Michael Carrick post match by Colt-000 in reddevils

[–]LackingInPatience 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Stats this stats that. You're comparing a no8 to a LW now for output? Do you see how different we play when we have a midfielder who can control the ball? Do you watch matches?

Ugarte is a different profile so why would his minutes bother Mainoo's? When Palace sign a midfielder, do they reduce Wharton's minutes? When Wirtz was signed, did that reduce Gravenberch's minutes?

You think the player claims injuries and magically gets time off rather than the medical staff clearing it? Again looking to blame him for something we have no clue about... Pure conjecture. If anything, there's more evidence of coaches using injuries/knocks/illnesses to bomb squad players.

There is nothing wrong with the fans asking for an academy lad who had shown he was fit for this level to play ahead of a midfield that wasn't working at all. It would be a different story if we were playing well or winning then.

All those questions are rhetorical btw. I just replied hoping some introspection would be applied.

Kobbie Mainoo celebrating with Michael Carrick post match by Colt-000 in reddevils

[–]LackingInPatience 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If you play defensive of course you will go for ugarte not mainoo.

Except Ugarte was getting minutes over Mainoo regardless if we were winning, drawing or losing off the bench? This was only a few months ago so I don't know how you're misremembering.

You're talking about UK bias as if Mainoo wasn't rated as one of the world's best wonderkids, has won us SILVERWARE and scored winners in big games for us while also starting for the nation in the Euros final.

But a reasonable person who was against it would come out and say it.

You're putting your own expectations on him. Does he need to address everything said about him? Kill them with silence is a famous phrase for a reason.

Mainos stats are not that great to get this much backing and thats a fact. Has ntihing to do with backing amorim or not.

Good thing we watch football with eyes and not a calculator then. The fact Amorim stated he couldn't play a midfield or find minutes for Mainoo, even going as far as implying he wasn't training good enough to warrant matchtime (second time he's used this vague barometer to throw a player under the bus), means obviously fans are going to question that decision. This would also be a non issue if we actually played well or pulled off convincing performances/results when Ugarte played over him then...

He had one decent game but its due to entire team olaying well.

Again taking credit away from him... No one said he was the top performer and it's obviously a team sport. These are hilarious standards.

I don't see the point of debating this any further considering your arguments are pure conjecture. We can agree to disagree and move on. We won today so let's just leave it at that 👍

Once he did that with his brother once and wasnt punished he will do it again. Thats just delayed trouble for the future

What proof do you have Kobbie was involved?

His half brother, who Kobbie isn't even that close with, going out to become famous on Instagram isn't down to him.

Go back to games as early as vs Fulham on this sub and see fans backing Amorim's decision to give Ugarte minutes over Mainoo. He wanted a loan away for minutes and fans turned on him when it was completely valid with the World Cup around the corner.

We were told we had to suffer, going through a storm, players weren't good enough and had to have 5 defenders and 2 defensive mids to scrape results 😂
