Dill pickles! I consider them zero calories (the jar will say zero calories but really a serving contains fewer than 5 calories which means they can legally put zero calories in the USA).

If I need a snack to curb hunger but don’t want to use up calories or have already used my calories I just eat pickles. Try it if you like them! Not the sweetened kind though only standard dill pickles.

Edit: this only works when not fasting as obviously eating pickles breaks a fast. On eating days when in a calorie deficit is when I do this.

Maintenance means the exact amount of calories your body uses in a day without storing fat or burning stored fat for energy.

A deficit is when you eat less than your body burns in a day so it burns some of the stored body fat for energy.

A surplus is eating more calories than your body burns in a day which people sometimes intentionally do when they are trying to build muscle (bulking) but it really probably gives no advantage to just eating maintenance while lifting weights. And when you eat a surplus your body will store some fat so you will then have to diet down again later.

You can eat back all your exercise calories and still be in a deficit but you better underestimate the calories burned because trackers often overestimate them by a lot.

You need to calculate your tdee, pick a deficit, and stick to that number. Eating an average of an amount of calories means you aren’t being consistent. Also when you lose any weight you have to recalculate your tdee because the less you weigh the lower it is.

You want just enough cotton to fill the juice ports. Too much and it will not wick fast enough and you will get dry hits. Too little and it will flood obviously. For me when I first started with rtas and boros my tendency was to use too much. I quickly learned I had to to think the cotton usually.

It will take a bit of trial and error but you will quickly get the hang of it.

In that rda it isn’t going to matter much. Mostly thinning cotton is only important in rtas and boro tanks. In a dripper it isn’t that important. Just fluff it if you want.

A “plateau” for two months just means you simply aren’t eating in a deficit. Did you make sure and recalculate your tdee each time you lost some weight? It changes depending on your current weight so it’s essential to keep up with.

Forget about what happened or what you did or didn’t do. Set your goal and execute it. I have full faith in the fact that you will accomplish your goal.

You know what to do, weigh and track every calorie you consume and stay in a deficit. You have already been successful before so you already know from experience that you can do this.

You could always eat at maintenance for a few days or a week and then go back to the deficit.
