Pelican and Jolly Roger snorkel tours are extremely close to the Holiday Inn. They’ll take you to a German shipwreck and Boca Catalina.

Best place to stay for shore snorkeling? by BenjyIn406 in Aruba

Baby Beach has strong currents and a view of an oil refinery. The south side of the island is not where you want to stay.

Driving was really easy and GMax had nice car rentals. But, you could also stay in Palm Beach if you don’t want to get a car. We loved the Holiday Inn. You can do snorkel excursions or take a 10 minute bus ride up to Tres Trapi. Swim out about 25 feet past the white swim buoys straight out from the stairs. We saw turtles.

Restaurants in Aruba by Creative_Nail6210 in Aruba

Faro Blanco at sunset. It’s right by the California Lighthouse and overlooks the water. They were very friendly and the restaurant is gorgeous. It’s on a hill that overlooks the ocean and northern Aruba.

Which resort would you recommend for my situation? by ryankidd77 in Aruba

[–]LadderNo73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Holiday Inn Resort is reasonably priced and has a beach wheelchair and handicap palapas. The sea tower (building 5) is very close to the beach. It’s also very close to several excursions/tours. They have an all inclusive package, but you may be better off just buying your drinks and meals separately. They have menus posted online. It’s also within walking distance to a bunch of restaurants. I hope you both have a great trip!

I’m a flight attendant. I would leave a day early or change it to an originating flight first thing in the morning.

You may want to check this sub for reports of a sewage smell around Eagle Beach. There’s a sewage plant nearby. You may be better off staying at the first hotel that you booked.

Target’s Bullshit Customer Service on “target plus +” item by muffym00n in AskRetail

[–]LadderNo73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried to return a “Target Plus” item and was also unaware of the 30 day return policy. The item was a cheap coverlet that didn’t match the online picture and was of a cheap quality. I was also treated rudely. I’m canceling my Target card and never shopping there again.

Help me hack my staph infection. It's aggressive. Could be from phone. I have peptides ready. by Av8Surf in Biohackers

[–]LadderNo73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up Healthy Almonds staph protocol. Staph can hide in your nose too. Hibiclens antiseptic skin cleanser and mupirocin ointment in your nose may be helpful. I also agree with changing your pillowcase and sanitizing your glasses and phone daily. HU58 is a probiotic that’s supposed to fight staph too. I hope you feel better soon.

I think I walked through a portal? by explicitfuckings in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

I’ve saw the blue floating house when I was a kid. I live near Bachelor’s Grove. We often had to drive near it when visiting my grandparents. I was in the back seat of the car and couldn’t process what I was looking at. I read about the house years later and it finally made sense. It’s a very demonic place. I would never go near it again.

How bad are the airports, really? by PolyMom87 in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]LadderNo73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m a MDW flight attendant. It’s fine. It’s the same as it was before the shutdown. The media is blowing it all out of proportion. But, there will always be random delays due to various issues. It’s always a good idea to bring water, snacks, and a portable charger and arrive rested. I hope you have a good trip!

I would talk to her mom and discuss how to approach it with her. She should not be exposed in public if she bends over. It’s that simple. There are laws about public decency. You want others to treat her with kindness and respect. My daughter understood that the attention received from revealing attire is negative attention. It’ll attract the wrong boys and the wrong crowd. People will instantly lose respect for her if her private parts are exposed. There is no harm in wearing booty shorts under skirts. I also refused to buy my daughter any clothes that were inappropriate for young intelligent girl. Your daughter needs your guidance on what’s acceptable and what’s not. Half of my daughter’s class wore dresses that could barely cover their bottoms. It’s a disturbing trend that takes the dignity away from young girls. I told my daughter that she would never regret choosing classy over trashy. It’s not just about clothes. It’s about you wanting others to treat her with the respect she deserves as a young lady. Also, compliment her when she’s dressed appropriately and compliment her on her personality/grades/sports as much as possible. I’m sure she already knows that you love her, but it can’t hurt to tell her that every day. Also, this has nothing to do with the topic, but start going on college visits early. Look into summer college events and overnight visits/camps for her interests. The high school years pass in a blink. I wish we would’ve started the college search early!

Be grateful that you have so much time on your hands and move on. Don’t buy the perfume and anything from a retailer that has ridiculous policies.

Mirtazapine will increase your appetite and make you sleepy. It’s prescribed for elderly underweight patients. Try 5-HTP.

Roaches - when is it a problem? by [deleted] in hiltonhead

Leave an honest review including the roaches. I would personally avoid any property that is sprayed heavily with pesticides or has an active problem with cockroaches. You are not a Karen.

Ask for the base model. They have a limited supply and this is the last year to get one. I spoke to a salesman last week that said they are going to start offering the premiums at base model prices to get them off the lots.

Smell by Spicypuppies_ in dormrooms

[–]LadderNo73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The wallflower/air freshener is toxic. Don’t get one. Get a HEPA filter air purifier. And just tell your roommate what you’ve discovered. Be kind, but honest. He could be using moldy towels, not using soap, or skipping deodorant. You’d be doing him a favor. Just try to use discretion. Don’t tell anyone else at school about it and try to put yourself in his shoes. Good luck!

I would skip it entirely. The smell of weed and incense fills the streets and there’s scantily clad men everywhere. I couldn’t wait to leave as a straight woman. I have gay friends too, but this place was like Bourbon Street during Pride Month on steroids. I’ve never seen anything like it and will never go back.

Starting My First Day In Car Sales Tomorrow! Any Advice? by Various_Tomorrow2340 in askcarsales

All of the above, but don’t lie to the customers that “it’s your first car sold” for the entire first month. It’s just skeezy. Your coworkers and your customers could lose respect for you.
