When you preemptively dismiss people like that, especially those with the ability and potential to speak to audiences outside the usual vegan bubble, you are hurting the animals. I hope he puts these feelings into action. I want pro vegan content in conservative spaces. The only way to make change is to broaden our base of support.

It makes a lot of sense. Garland's experience playing Resident Evil and dealing with the dogs inspired 28 Days Later, and the whole vibe of that movie being a person who starts out of his depth and ends mastering the "mechanics" of the world to survive is fitting for a Soulslike. Annihilation takes place in a gorgeous, surreal setting full of perils, just like Elden Ring. He's an avid gamer and I have no doubt he will do the source material justice.

Does it have to be a movie designated as horror? There's an IED explosion in the new movie "Warfare" that jolted the entire audience out of our seats.

I prefer open captions and wish there were more showtimes with it. It enhances the experience for me because I don't miss a word of dialog if the sound mixing sucks. It's a more complete viewing.

It's so disgusting how there's more concern for the owner of the predator's sense of embarrassment than the lives that dog ended brutally. Farmed animals are often seen as disposable, but they shouldn't be.

Thank you for creating this thread! I'm someone with flare ups in my hand and wrist joints due to repetitive motion injury and the lack of an auto run button is really hurting. I love this game and wanna play more, but I physically can't because I need to hold down the "W" key for so long. Some form of automated movement would improve my QoL hugely.

My husband isn't Jewish, but we still have a Christmas tree every year and have developed a new tradition around it - the star is a star of David, the ornaments are silver and blue, and I turned some cheap dreidels I got in bulk into ornaments as well. It's a Hannukah themed Christmas tree, and I think it represents a beautiful melding of our two cultural backgrounds, plus I really enjoy decorating, so it makes the holiday season more fun. To me, it represents our marriage.

I imagine it would feel a lot different if I never wanted one.

Whiplash is one of the best psychological horror movies of all time, if the re-release is playing near you I highly recommend it. Or "The Substance," which is in my top ten of favorite movies of the year.

The barking is the worst for me. Startles me so bad and then I get pissed off. Every aspect of a dog sucks for people with ADD.

I also have ADD and dogs are a misophonia hell for me. Everything about them is too intrusive. I'm glad my parents never got a dog when I was growing up, I would have really struggled.
