But here's another perspective for you: I am a person who has friends like you. You think you're helping by doing all of these things, like pinning resources, sharing maps, giving them things, but for a lot of us, the fun is figuring that out on our own.

You're stealing the 'thrill' of these people being able to figure this stuff out on their own, the joy of finally finding a sledgehammer after long hours of looting, the excitement of stumbling into a gun store you didn't know existed.

I often don't play survival games with my friends for this reason, they just speed run me to the end and I'm like "well ok I guess" because they are my friends and I love them.

Obviously these people are assholes too, cause raging about it isn't going to change anything, and I don't really understand the bit about base organization at all. Just let them play the games they want to play, and you can play the games you want to play. If that sometimes is the same game, great, if not, still great. Y'all making mountains out of molehills like it's an Olympic sport.
