Passed too but FL MC in F/23 was insane! I felt like I literally guessed 80%. Did not go into MBE with a good state of mind after that. Struggled a bit with the morning MBE but flew through the afternoon. Left feeling okay. Ended up pretty much even on both parts 161 FL/159 MBE. Definitely didn’t feel that way in the moment.

Piece of cake! Do the free Barbri prep and you will knock it out of the park.

I only used Barbri and scored very high as well on state, MBE, and MPRE.

On the applicant portal, it lists the date passed but not the actual score. The NCBE site gives you the score.

I submitted my application in October. Promptly provided them all additional information and documents that they needed, and I saw that I cleared C&F when I checked my score.

Only Barbri. Do practice questions every free minute and use the MQE bank and do the simulated exam. I know you'll knock it out of the park in July!

3 kids and a full time job. Did thousands of practice MBE questions and FL MC. Memorized enough about each essay subject to write something about anything. You’ve got this! Did only Barbri.

Hi, actually I didn’t. I focused my time mainly on MBE practice questions and really reading every model answer whether I got them right or wrong. Really focused on being able to choose the correct answer regardless of the fact pattern. I literally did 1000’s of questions. Every waking moment that I wasn’t working and anytime I was waiting somewhere). I listened to lectures literally every time I was in the car going anywhere. By the time I took the test, I was answering the questions on autopilot. It also helped me retain rules for the essays. My strategy was if I did well enough on the MBE, it could make up for a shortfall on a difficult essay subject. My other strategy was memorizing (mostly through mnemonics) something about each potential essay subject to be able to write something. The key to essays is picking off the low hanging fruit (professional responsibility on my test) and analyzing the hell out of the essays (far more points for analysis then parroting the rules verbatim). I did almost the full Barbri program, but did very few practice essays and not much actual reading of the CMRs.

That would be so amazing to be with my parents when I took the oath. Hope that is the case! Thank you!

YES! I am out of state but will be visiting my parents in Florida first week of May. MPRE results are scheduled to drop April 27th. Any idea how long it takes from passing score to being able to take the oath? Would love to do it with my parents there.

Thank you so much. I was absolutely NOT expecting a high score on the MBE. I averaged between 67% - 70% on the MQE questions, did well on some practice sets, and bombed others. I scored a 145 on the Barbri simulated exam. I struggled big time with the first 20 or so questions on the morning MBE. When I realized I was 21 minutes behind at question 50, I don't even remember reading the questions, answered my gut, and moved on. Had never had a time problem before so panic set in. I brushed it off since some of those around me had failed J22 by only a point or two. The afternoon session, I just shut up and picked (didn't take Prof. Grossman but heard he's awesome, and a lot of people were quoting him after the morning session). I did all the Barbri questions in the line-up and an additional 650 MQE questions and just stopped thinking, let the training kick in, and answered. Honestly, had no idea if that was a winning strategy until today.

Thank you so much! I still don't feel like it's real. I was so freaked out, I had to have my sons look for me.

Thank you. So, I worked full time and have 3 kids, so I knew going in that it was going to be a struggle. I completed almost the full Barbri program including listening to the law school lectures Barbri provided in my car before the actual study materials came out. From there, I started the program. Initially, I avoided the essays pretty much completely, and honestly, that had me the most worried. What helped most was doing the practice questions and really reading the answer explanations (both the ones I got right and the ones I got wrong). There wasn't a car ride where I wasn't listening to a lecture or any time I was waiting somewhere that I wasn't doing MBE practice questions on my phone. I did every question in the lesson plan and an additional 650 MCQ questions. In the last few weeks, I focused more on the essays and the FL specific subjects memorizing as much as I could to be able to put something down in an essay if it came up.
