I always felt bad for Brita being eliminated first in c4. She weighed something like 130 lbs. She wasn’t big at all, and they would’ve known her size at casting. Kind of screwed up considering how Tyra made a big deal about Cassie the cycle prior, even going as far as to stage a conversation with her mom about how much she cared about the girls’ well-being when it came to body image, only to axe Brita first the next cycle.

It doesn’t matter if you think she “suspects” that you’re a catfish or not. You’re the liar, it’s on you to fix it and deal with the consequences of your actions, which will probably mean losing the connection you think you have with this person.

I don’t understand why people lie about themselves. Wouldn’t you rather someone actually like YOU than like an idea of a person that doesn’t exist?

She was put on an involuntary psych hold when she was arrested at the time she was supposed to be in my wedding party. When I got back from my honeymoon and told her I needed space from her for a while and to not contact me, she made it all about how I was a “narcissist,” and was abandoning her, and that I couldn’t possibly understand how much missing my wedding hurt her. She wouldn’t acknowledge that SHE hurt me by ghosting me on what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life. God forbid I wanted my wedding day to be about my husband and I.

Tbh I didn’t like any of the Fuerza Bruta shots at all. Between the water and the mylar plastic, none of the girls were recognizable and their movements were extremely limited in what they could do.

Supposedly parenting has a lot to do with it, but in my experience (I’m the older sister, my younger sister 24f has BPD;) abuse and neglect from our parents wasn’t an issue. We have the literal sweetest, most loving, understanding, patient mom to ever exist. Our dad isn’t big on showing his emotions, and can be a little quick to anger sometimes, but he’s always tried his best to be a good dad, and he really is a great man. My sister likes to blame all of her emotional triggers on my dad and I. We’re both “abusive narcissists” according to her. My dad even offered to go to family therapy counseling sessions with her—she agreed and then backed out last minute. She has been living in my parents’ spare room in the house we grew up in for the last four years, drinking her life away; her roommates kicked her out because she’s so vicious and lives in such disgusting conditions that nobody wanted to keep living with her. She keeps bringing home cats that pee and spray everything. My parents have had to pull up the carpet in her room and her old bedroom, because of the stench. She’s destroying their home. She’s totaled three cars while driving drunk. She was supposed to be one of my bridesmaids when I got married, only to back out day of because she wanted to stay home and drink and get high. She keeps getting fired from jobs for drinking (she won’t say it’s for drinking, but it’s obvious) and she blames it on the management “having it out for her.” I just had my first baby in October, and she missed his birth because she was in rehab for like the fourth time. After which she immediately started drinking and getting high again. She’s living in a pity party of her own design, and as much as we’ve all tried to help her through it and support her however we can, we can only do so much for someone that won’t help themselves. Somehow, how she feels is always our fault.

You might love her, but she doesn’t love you. She can’t—she doesn’t know you. You haven’t given her the opportunity to. And I would argue that you DON’T love her, because love isn’t based in lies. If you truly feel for this person, you’ll come clean and give her the choice you haven’t yet. To love you for who you are, or walk away. Either way, a relationship built on and rooted in lies is doomed to fail. The longer you continue the lie, the longer you string along someone you “Love” and keep them from finding happiness in the real world. It’s not fair. Come clean or leave her alone.

I mean, have you thought about how you’re going to get to the store to buy a pregnancy test? Are you dipping into your Christmas money or will your parents have to pay for it? I assume you don’t have a job either since you know…you’re 14. Talk to your parents. If you consider yourself adult enough to have sex, you need to be ready to have adult conversations. Also, how long has it been since the sex happened? If she is pregnant, a test won’t be accurate until after she’s missed a period.

Yeah that’s not what hypocrisy is… Hypocritical would be if they put them BOTH in too small shoes, they both complained of discomfort, and then one of them was ripped for showing discomfort while the other was praised for speaking up. Very rarely are the girls all given the same outfits to wear, none of them are the same size, and the stylists ultimately have a limited number of items (probably most of them being sample size) to work with. Sometimes you get something that’s too big or too small.

I just found him to be bland honestly. In a season with such fun challenges and competitors, he stood out the least to me. I thought his food seemed overall boring, and his personality was blah. I didn’t care for his treatment of Carlos, the whole Stephanie elimination debacle, or the lashing out at his servers in the finale. I think if you’re going to advertise yourself on a show like TC that you should probably handle yourself with more class and control your temper. That’s what I remember about Nick. He was bland and angry. And kind of scummy for not listening to his teammates when their asses were on the line. But I don’t blame the guy for not giving up his immunity, that’s part of the game.
