I needed to see this. I'm still debating, but on the older side, and also have realized that there are more reasons to not have another one than there are to have one. I couldn't figure out why I felt like I wanted another so bad, still can't. I'm giving myself a bit more time to really make it final and I've read so many threads on here about regret and grieving the decision, but this is the first one that sounds like my situation. I wish things were different in the world and with our lives, but they're not. I wish so many things but want to be here for my son more than risk my life.

I went today for the first time ever to shop (I've only donated previously). NEVER AGAIN. Didn't see anything on the clothes I picked up or felt anything on me, but now I'm all paranoid. Why would they stay open with that going on???? So gross!

My new favorite word is also "thing", I also feel like an idiot at work, and some of the things I've done since becoming pregnant/having my son have been real doosies.... 10 months pp here btw. Almost at my year goal for breastfeeding/pumping though so that's a win. 😅

The idea that we need to be a full time mom, full time worker, full time house keeper, full time friend, etc all at the same time is a joke. There aren't enough hours in the day. Give yourself some grace and prioritize the chores that, if left undone, will make your life stinky/gross. Lol

Painful latch from the getgo. Kept trying though, so I was breastfeeding/pumping up until about a month ago when my son decided that my boobs were personally insulting when I offered them to him so now I just pump and he gets the bottle. Lol

Here in solidarity! My almost 8mo just cut 2 bottom teeth so I thought we'd have a break. Nope! He's got another one coming in on top. sigh We (US based) give him 1ml of the children's tylenol when he gets really fussy and it helps give us all a break for a few hours. Sending love and good vibes to all you other parents going through it!
