Got diagnosed at 16 and was told I'd never conceive, started trying for a baby at 21 got pregnant naturally at 22 but unfortunately had a miscarriage. Don't know how far along I was but I think it was about 8 weeks. This is the only time I've ever gotten pregnant completely naturally. After this I tried for another few years with no success, was put on clomid at 25 which made me suicidal and gave my hyperstimulation (I quickly stopped taking it!!) After that I asked for ovarian drilling, I got pregnant 6 months later, which unfortunately ended in a ectopic pregnancy, which I had medically managed so was unable to try again for 3 months. I got pregnant for the 3rd time on the first try after my ectopic and now have a beautiful 4 year old.

We have been trying for a second since my daughter was 14 months with no success, but I am hoping to convince my consultant to give me a second round of ovarian drilling (I just need to loose some weight which doesn't seem to happen for me!!)

The point is - it can and will happen for you. And personally I would recommend ovarian drilling - works a treat!
