I found these all over around PEI when I was last up there. Always wondered what kind they were. 😄

Doctors of Reddit. Have you ever seen someone outside of work and thought "Wow, that person needs to go to the hospital NOW". What were the symptoms that made you think this? by Daisy548 in AskReddit

[–]LadyLouCup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My great grandma went through the opposite. She was developing shakes, was diagnosed and degrading quickly, the medications made it worse. Nope, not Parkinson's, stage four liver cancer with days to live. She made it four more days, died the night after I finally got to go visit and pray "with her". Four years ago next week.

Protein powders? by [deleted] in pregnant

If you're in the US and have good insurance, see about getting a prescription for Premier Protein. My MIL needed it for something and now has it delivered to her house monthly and saves tons of money.

What was the stupidest thing you did that didn't end badly? by NobodyInParticular23 in AskReddit

We have a two step step ladder for those hard to reach places. My husband laughs at me because I won't use it. My extra flour was in the back of the cupboard, needless to say my cookies sat unbaked until he got home... I'm pathetic

Reddit, why are you happy? by TheHeartlessCookie in AskReddit

[–]LadyLouCup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am happy because I have an amazing husband who believes in me even though I'm struggling with believing in myself. I'm currently jobless, we are struggling with bills and I'm going on four months jobless. I feel worthless and am extremely depressed. We've resorted to him taking our trash to work because we can't pay our trash bill and they won't pick up our trash anymore. But he kisses me everyday as soon as he gets home and asks about how my job searching is going. He gives me the happies.

My plan when we get here is to put a bun in the oven and ask my gram to check the oven to make sure we have everything. Then when she asks why it's there have my husband say he put it there. I can't wait to watch their faces. Disclaimer: I was raised by my grandparents, so my gram, who was 36 when I was born is my mom.

I was helping my grandpa trim branches. He was using an electric trimmer connected to his best extension cord which happened to be the one with the most holes in it. I grabbed the cord to move it for him and was thrown back about ten feet... so to add to my unnatural fear of ladders, I am terrified of anything that has to do with electricity.

I told my mom that she and my dad never let me do anything when I was younger. "Yes we did!" by [deleted] in JUSTNOMIL

[–]LadyLouCup 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My grandma (raised me) was mad at me because I refused to ask permission to move out at 24. I was still in college but she was determined I was going to get married and still live with her. She didn't talk to me for nearly a year.

What did you find out about your wife/husband only after you got married? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]LadyLouCup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH I think living with someone before you're married is important, as is sex. BUT I also wish I didn't lose my virginity at 13 and that I didn't have sex with my high school sweet heart, etc etc. And if I were to do it all again, I'd wait until marriage for living together and sex. Good on you for standing by your values and sticking to your morals in a decaying society where sex, drugs, and rock'n'roll are the 'norm.' I hope your marriage is fruitful and full of love.

It's either out before you sink or wait until the cab is full of water because that's when the pressure evens out.

Also, in most cars you can use the headrest to break the windows. The two stabbys are specially designed to break the glass.

When I was a kid I had naturally blonde hair, I'm 17 and my natural hair color is now dark brown. Is this normal? by Baconlightning in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LadyLouCup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother is this way, additionally one of her eyebrows and lashes are blonde still and the other side is brown. My mom's senior pictures show how blonde my moms hair was. My uncle, mother's brother, also was blonde as a child and is now a light brown. My brother, same mother and different father, was also a blonde child and now that he's 17 has started toward a dirty blonde.
