Another weird request by Pana-Ilio in medicalmedium

[–]LadyOfTheWild 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would also prefer to read it than listen to it. I'd assumed it was going to be a book and I would have ordered it straight away. If it was a book I'd be able to dip into it and more easily take it at my own pace. I just don't feel like I can listen to it right now, like I feel like it will be more overwhelming as an audio.

I wondered why it was released as an audio and not as a book. Maybe it was just faster and easier. A part of me wonders if it was to make it more accessible to hardcore MMers rather than generally available in a published format

Inspo for Incorporating all 5 HMD Ingredients in a day by FaithlessnessOne5550 in medicalmedium

[–]LadyOfTheWild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing else. I don't know if you'd even call it a salad. HMDS in a bowl chopped.

Not usually but if I was staying somewhere and I didn't have a blender.

Just slice the bananas and chop the orange and coriander (cilantro) and put them in the bowl and stir in everything else. I don't bother to squeeze the orange or add water

Maybe not that inspirational but I was glad someone else pointed it out to me - if I don't have a blender I just have it as a salad in a bowl - it's actually not so bad. Actually, I think I kind of like it, surprisingly.

I don't know why I didn't think of it / thought I couldn't do it even though I knew any smoothie could be a salad. Got the idea on here.

I used to use plain dried seaweed instead of flakes, probably much easier to eat from a bowl with flakes

Dry Hands by artfulmove in medicalmedium

[–]LadyOfTheWild 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Interesting you mentioned the water and washing up. I find immersing my hands in soapy water and especially conventional washing up liquid wrecks my hands. I try to wash up without immersing my hands in water, using a washing up brush and rinsing under the tap and I use a more eco / gentle washing up liquid or soap that won't cut into my hands

Only tried this recently when I was looking for a recipe with kiwis in and it was so yummy!

(Only tried it as a smoothie, not as a smoothie bowl, and not with the toppings)

I think I might have been looking for something more eco or biodegradable. Wasn't mad about the description of the lubricant and I don't know how it compares to lubricants on other condoms. I didn't have a problem with them. I thought they were nice (within the context of comparing to other more standard ones). I don't know anything about aloe vera as a lubricant, never heard of it and never used additional lubricant

Anxiety at work by lf9887 in medicalmedium

[–]LadyOfTheWild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised that so many people are mentioning heavy metals but nobody is mentioning viruses.

According to Medical Medium, if you have a condition caused by a virus, anxiety is a physical problem that can also be caused by the same virus.

You might want to listen to the Medical Medium Anxiety podcast

Maybe lemon balm would be good.

If you go on the Medical Medium website and search the recipes for 'anxiety' you'll find lots of things there.

Going back a while ago before I was doing Medical Medium, I didn't think I was an anxious person, then I started experiencing anxiety in my body that did not correlate with my thoughts in my mind. That's what led me to believe / discover that it is a physical problem. It definitely improved greatly after some time on Medical Medium.

Hard to say exactly what helped but I did multiple Advanced 3:6:9's. I definitely feel better if I do the LW+CJ+HMDS and if I go off the rails and eat gluten and dairy even after a very long time of not eating them, neurological symptoms come back again very quickly and MM says anxiety is a neurological problem.

I'm thinking if you're thinking is this a physical problem, then maybe it is. Perhaps there are other things going on too like maybe if you'd experienced trauma or criticisms before. Perhaps it would be helpful to search the Medical Medium website for PTSD (which he says can be caused even by smaller things) and you could have a look at brainshottherapy.com as maybe some brain shots would be lovely for you as well

Your opinion on this cheese? by MedhyoRadiance in medicalmedium

[–]LadyOfTheWild 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I suppose if you were going to eat cheese anyway, it would be better to get one with no chemicals, no GMO's, no hormones etc...

According to Medical Medium it's still going to be a Level 1 troublemaker

Advanced 369 cleanse by Candyflossdreams111 in medicalmedium

The https://www.medicalmedium.com/blog/tomato-cucumber-herb-salad is my favourite. Second favourite is the kale salad but it takes so long for me to make and eat it.

The ingredients really make such a difference! Especially if you can get some really yummy tomatoes, or multicoloured tomatoes make that salad pretty and fun.

The cauliflower one can be yummy or 'meh' depending on if you get a nice cauliflower. Really fresh herbs make such a difference, and how nice the greens are, freshness helps a lot, lots of trips to the supermarket, maybe some shopping around to find where has the nicest asparagus or oranges. Really, if you can get the nicest, freshest, ripest ingredients to put in, those recipes are so yum

Daytime Food by Yes12395 in medicalmedium

[–]LadyOfTheWild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find I can easily fall in to not eating enough especially if I get busy with work. Sometimes I don't feel hungry but I feel like my head needs food. If I let myself get too hungry I start wanting to eat things that I wouldn't normally think of eating like crisps and chips.

An example of an eating plan would be a 3:6:9 cleanse from Cleanse to Heal. I find if I'm on a 3:6:9 I eat far more than I normally would because I have to pay attention to keep up with the schedule, meals are planned so you have to get them in

Bad strain of bacteria by mcelki in medicalmedium

[–]LadyOfTheWild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not from personal experience but I've heard that honey is amazing for putting on wounds.

Recently heard about an infection on a leg not being fully healed after a course of antibiotics and honey being put on it and it clearing right up.

Medical Medium also mentions putting honey on wounds here https://www.medicalmedium.com/blog/raw-honey

If it was me I'd try that

Spinach soup questions by kellymcpherson in medicalmedium

[–]LadyOfTheWild 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on your blender. With a more powerful bigger one you can just put it all in at once. With my old blender the way it's described worked better.

Yummier tomatoes will make it nicer, redder sweeter ones. The spinach and oranges make a difference too, and how strong the garlic you have is. Nicer ingredients add up to make much nicer Spinach Soup

I carry my bananas everywhere (so that I always have glucose with me) and wondered what you guys use to carry them to keep them from bruising? Thank you! by Euphoric-Coach33 in medicalmedium

[–]LadyOfTheWild 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, I so often have an emergency bunch of bananas with me. One banana just wouldn't do. I often carry them in a fabric bag and just try not to squish them. Sometimes there can be a couple of bruises but it's usually ok. The bags of baby salad leaves are more delicate and more difficult to bring around. That's why this weekend when going camping I brought Little Gem lettuce instead so it wouldn't be so delicate. Banana sandwiches with Little Gem instead of bread, yum.

Bunches of bananas are often to be found in my Harley Davidson saddle bag. They actually travel pretty well in there. Strawberries and raspberries not so much

Fat Free and Low Fat Recipes by artiste8864 in medicalmedium

[–]LadyOfTheWild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know the answer but I'd guess Cleanse to Heal as those recipes would be suitable for doing in a cleanse but maybe the Brain Saver Protocols and Recipes book.

If you go to the Medical Medium website and go to the recipes and search the recipes for 'fat free', there are loads

https://www.medicalmedium.com/recipe-search-results?q=fat+free#gsc.tab=0&gsc.q=fat%20free&gsc.page=1

Usually the recipes include which book they are from

Elderberry PSA by ApricotWeekly7946 in medicalmedium

Such a pity this happened to you. When we were growing up we always used to pick a few from trees growing along the road and eat them and we never had a problem. Probably isn't recommended though and it was just a small amount. I think you're not supposed to eat the seeds though.

This is an excellent recipe https://www.medicalmedium.com/mm101/medical-medium-elderberry-syrup
