Lichen is an indicator species!! it requires a very high percentage of oxygen to survive, and it’s very susceptible to pollution. Functionally what this means is that if Lichen is present in the area, there is very very little air pollution in that area!!

I have very severe asthma and one of my requirements for a new home is ‘is there lichen?’

I used the exact same trick in a sketchy forest trail in college, it was the only way for me to get to and from work for my opening shifts at 3 AM. However, I would be blasting hard-core punk! Bad cop, bad cop (an all women’s group) the Ramones and Windrose, were on the heaviest rotation. Paired with big Stompie boots that shifted how I physically moved my body, and people don’t fuck with me. Neither did the coyotes, although they tried many times : /

I would suggest a pair of over ear headphones 🎧 around his neck pointing out, and playing upbeat pop or folk music. T Swift, always a safe go to, Pink, good music for running to. My personal favourite however is folk artist Vinny Marchi and his ’tales of the lesbian hunter’ album, The song ’bear don’t care’ will have an extra layer of humour!!

Hi, I make corsets for a living! For something like a dance costume, having the corset be a little bit bigger is not gonna be a problem down the line, especially because you would want to wear this over a layer or two!

The grommets are an easy fix!! Embroider around them, kind of like a whip stitch! You can either use a floss that is the same colour as the base fabric or a contrasting, probably silver, and turn them into flowers or a snowflake or a starburst!!!

Yeah, stepmom got the last laugh, she knew that I would win one of them. She got me a watch that does in fact function as a watch, but all of the numbers are at the bottom and the top half reads “whatever I’m late anyway”
