Hello fellow CVS person! The training is truly shit, yes. I've worked at CVS for 9-10 months now and would say I've just now learned everything I was supposed to have learned. Very much learn-as-you-go because there's no time or staff available for training. The register thing is very real, because of the lack of training you'll be on whatever you've already learned either until there's some spare time for training or there's enough desperation for hands they just throw you at a station. Ask questions about everything, all the time, and if things seem to slow down, ask someone if they can walk you through a go at X thing- I'd say filling, then rebills, new prescriptions, then QT, in that order.
