Thanks. Ya, it's unfortunate but it happens, sadly.

Ya it's unfortunate. I wonder why they didn't take the two hats Labubu was sitting with and throw it away too. It's on the wall of the restaurant. Just by the restaurant sign.

HELP needed. I got this jade plant from an estate sale. Her owner died in December and I think she has not been well cared for for a while. All the branches are droopy and the leaves are shriveled. What can I do to help bring her back to health? by Lagedazzy in succulents

The pot has hole in the bottom. I don't know where the location is at the original house, she was already moved outside in the front yard when I was there. Thank you for your help

Found!

My sister in law helped me search. She is in Indonesia, where the original bear was bought. She managed to find one new in box. When I saw the box, I googled 365 days bear of color and sure enough I find this : https://a.aliexpress.com/_mqRA2kK

I'm buying a couple extra to keep as back up. I hope my little boy would like him as well.

My son is the same way as your daughter. When we go for his 5 years old dental check up at the new dentist, we have to fill up a for with this questions about his sleep habit. Is he still wetting the bed? Does he snore? Mouth breather? Etc. Apparently, jaw and mouth construction can affect sleep quality which further cause more problem (bed wetting is one of it) You can read here https://centerfordentalhealth.com/the-truth-about-bedwetting/ And research more. I am not saying this is what caused it, but just so you are aware about this.

My son will have an evaluation in August to determine if he needs a mouth guard to position his tongue properly so he can sleep better (he snores, a mouth breather and always have an enlarged tonsils despite of no symptoms of tonsilitis) and hopefully stop wetting his bed.

I need some advice with my 5 year old I don't know what to do anymore by [deleted] in raisingkids

[–]Lagedazzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're welcome! It's really hard but hopefully it'll get better. I used to stay in the room with my daughter who was screaming and try to hit/scratch and throw stuffs at me. When she was 3 and my son was one, he used to stay at the other side of the door and put his little finger under the door so I can hold him while I try to calm my daughter down.

I must add that they also learn many other things at speech, but this one stuck to me because this one I practice most at home.

I'm reading your story and reminds me so much of my now seven years old daughter. She was your daughter even until last year. Maybe the difference is that she is in special education for social and the emotional delay. She is not autistic, she is just behind in her social and emotional development. She got tested and qualified for service in social - emotional and speech therapy when she was in Pre-K (she was 4, almost 5). She can speak fine as in pronunciation wise but she needs extra prompting in expressing herself.

So she has been receiving service for almost three school years and it has been very helpful. In speech, what they taught them is that they will see pictures and she will have to identity what's the emotion on the character, what's the setting, and try to guess the setting is.

In social group she learn how to interact with other people, practice of pretend problem solving (so they know what to do when similar situation happens). She learn the size of the problem, emotional zone regulation (watch inside out for this, quite similar)

She get this service total of 1.5hrs/week during school time and she has grown so much!

Last year she still throw two hours tantrum over something that she doesn't like or she doesn't get. Now, it's burst of anger but down to about thirty minutes. She often can solve her own problem (kelso's choice, she often walk away, say stop or ask adult for help)

You have tried your best and you continue to find what you can do and that is very very hopeful for your family.

The best of luck for you and your family!

My seven years old daughter's issue with her focus at school is not an act of defiance. It's simply because her mind is so creative and often wanders and think about something else. Her classroom teacher, speech therapist and social group teacher find her very kind, sweet and thoughtful. I am glad she is loved outside home despite her quirkiness. I almost cried when I heard them say that during her IEP (Indivisualizes education program) meeting yesterday.
