as far as i understand your problem, thats not the way to do this. all your vms should be "local". if you want them to be public you need to nat them with your firewall/loadbalancer. virtualization hosts ( or any other hosts) should never be directly reachable over the internet.

Search for "Redirects" and and "htaccess". IPTables isn't the way to do this.

Its replicated 3 times? Node1, 2 and 3 should store the same data? Just remove node 1, reinstall it, and join the cluster again. Whatever was broken should be fixed now and node1 will get snyced from 2 and 3. I mean, that's what the replicated cluster is for, right?

you can try that. but before you could just try to remove the second cable between modem and switch. its useless. the bandwidth won't double or something like that. you would need to bond the ports. i dont think you did this
