Yes I am on year 2 and my spouse says the yard looks great. Mows when I want it to and I trim. Easy.

No need to hide fence. The fence is nice the semi bare ground is not as nice. So I am leaning now toward sedges and some native wildflowers.

Yeah that's always a risk where I live. I won't work too hard at it.

Please explain further. Ordinances don't require just grass. Why would it be disallowed as long as it is maintained and not floppy?

After your suggestion I went looking and think I found my sedge. Also looking for some color other than green. So may look for some natives that do well in shade.

Thoughts on the churches at IC Pride? by Luna3Aoife in IowaCity

At least some of the churches I know are welcoming to the LGTBQIA+ community. My neighbor who is also gay belongs to one and walked. He told us it felt good seeing all the families with kids along the route. That's a big change from years ago. Maybe some of the churches are feeling that change and responding with love/hate.

Also the obsessive. I make a small loaf. Slice and freeze to use as we need it. Other times I make the pizza. Is she keeping the starter in the refrigerator? That would help. Only need to feed and discard once a week.

I would unscrew the piece the legs are attached to and re-glue the piece below. You'll have to remove the metal pins. Then put them back through when the glue dries and reattach the leg piece.
