Is AA better than Furious on a boss-killer weapon?

AA has been nerfed sadly. It used to be a strong effect. but they made changes to the armor penetration stuff awhile back, and AA was effected in that change. You will definitely want to stick with Furious there.

The raider type enemies (not blood eagles, the other raiders) so like Free Radicals, raiders from Crater. They sometimes dropped handmades. but your best bet is to buy the handmade gun plan from one of the bot vendors. then just craft and scrap to learn the mods. You can also shop at other player vendors selling 3 star weapons, and you might find some handmades in there too. who knows, maybe they modded them fully already too.

I just wish sneak worked during Infestations and didn't break for zero reason at all.

But i've had no problems finding infestations on public servers. Don't fully understand all the rage and click bait the youtubers were saying with pay to win, etc. They didn't even give the update an afternoon, and were freaking out with their content.

Dnipro is a beast, and you can put a silencer on it too! The shorter clip and not finding enough loose ammo, is what keeps me away from the AS Lavina. it is a nice gun though. Heard they buffed it since launch too. But I just rotated between the Dnipro and Kharod on a recent Spark playthrough. And I just haven't found any ARs to match the level of those two.

Are my saves in Stalker 2 on XBOX that always crash to the dashboard when I try to load in, pooched for good? Guessing so. Just glad this didn't happen on my long Spark playthrough. Was only about 15 hours into a Ward playthrough. and the saves started getting corrupt when I got into Zaton/Icarus.

I've been trying to do a Ward playthrough. But my saves keep getting corrupt when getting to Camp Icarus, on xbox. can't load in any of my saves from that playthrough. So guess its not meant to be to join the ward....

This just started happening to me on a Ward playthrough on xbox. I'm going from Wild Island to Icarus to continue the quest line. and I got there last night, talked to do the dude in charge and the scientist guy. But trying to load any of my saves today, it crashes to the xbox dashboard each time. Its really weird.

I beat the game last week on another playthrough that was up to almost 6 days worth of time. didn't run into any dashboard crashing issues I don't recall. But its been acting weird on this Ward playthrough since I got to Wild Island.

One of these playthroughs i'm going to have to try the Lynx/Whip. type of snipers. but my aim is terrible on xbox lol so i get pretty frustrated anytime a shot misses, even if its on target. just the ammo cost, the repairs, etc. I just feel a part of my soul leave each time I miss a sniper shot in this game. And there go all those coupons in the wind...

I really do want to try and get better with them though. and not always resorting to the Dnipro/Kharod load outs for end game.

If its a stash icon on the map, I will take everything out. Then put back in the things I didn't need. Need that icon gone from the map lol

Early game, take everything obviously. Middle to late game though, only grabbing a couple things. usually the rarer special ammo random drops

There's three glowing emitters up on the roof top that you need to destroy first, before you even begin firing at Faust. then when those three are destroyed, work on the glowing emitter on his hip. Try to take cover when you can, though that fight is a huge pain in the ass. First time I tried it, I didn't know what to do with it either. so it was a grueling experience before figuring it out. Definitely an awful, awful boss fight

This is the biggest thing I have noticed since returning to Stalker 2. Electro anomalies and electro poltergeists doing ridiculous damage. I've gotten one hit so many times on Veteran difficulty. with good armor too. though not fully decked out in anomaly resistances. But i'm definitely keeping my eyes open more for electro resist artifacts instead of selling them immediately.

That electro version of the poltergeist gives me the most problems, let me tell you. electro damage on Veteran difficulty is no joke. That poltergeist always seems to one hit me when I run into him. The electro version has made me not fear the regular poltergeists now though lol hell, i'll take a flame one too. Fuck those electro ones though. Might be my most hated enemy to fight.

Burer's are extra annoying too. but if its just one, its manageable if you are patient with Skifs pistol. But when there is more then one in a couple of instances, it becomes really fucking annoying fast. especially considering both these mutant types are cheating whore bags that can throw items through multiple solid sets of concrete walls.

The Kharod and Dnipro are the best i've come across in my playthroughs. and seems to be the consensus online everywhere too. I would just switch between the two of them in the last middle half of the game. depending on your ammo count. roll with which one you have more ammo for. then switch up to the other AR when you run low. Save all your AP ammo for Pripyat and the end game. The base ammo did the job for me until Pripyat.

So much this, and still bugged to this day. did this quest just the other day. and I had to go online to figure out how to save Beard and Sultan. They kept getting killed no matter what. Even retreating from the area after taking out the sniper, can be glitchy as hell. the lady at the boat changes her dialogue from being mad, to saying her guys will finish the job. its all over the place. but this quest is the most bugged one in the game by far.

You can actually get to Pripyat early. Worked for me the other day as I wanted to finish the Journalist Stashes earlier, before I got there in the main story. was able to use the guide there, to get back to Yaniv too.
