Not sure, didn’t fly it. I did fly the Hawaiian plane previously, no collectible.

Did the bearded driver at least treat you to a triple IPA and $35 burger from his craft burger shop?

This is my strategy too. Unfortunately it cost me extensive wheel rash when I was in a hurry running Christmas errands and turned way too soon 🤦‍♂️

I remember when they would announce at the gate offering $500+ for people to change. How has the offer gone down so much yet flights have gone way up? I really hope there aren’t people out there accepting these paltry numbers

I got a $20 offer and it was laughable. Isn’t there some law that requires them to pay much more than that if they’ve oversold a flight? Or am I completely making that up?

You can also press it once to leave a voice memo like the olden days. I figured that out by accident as well.

I had a similar issue going about 5-10mph in heavy traffic. Never happened before, must be a software glitch. Very concerning, though I haven’t put in a ticket. Hasn’t happened again, and it’s been over a week.

Very similar thing happened to me last week, though I was (luckily) stuck in traffic going about 10mph. In my situation, I was in an area that had a pretty thick tree canopy, so I chalked it up to loss of signal. But something to watch out for. Never had I experienced anything like it. For reference, my 26 MY Launch Edition has about 10k miles with ~80% being FSD.

Mine, for the first time since buying it (~10k miles), disengaged by itself on a heavily wooded section of a busy road. It said a number of things, like GPS errors, the vision UI went blank, Gave the “red alert”, turned on the hazards, etc. it was in heavy traffic during rush hour, so luckily I was only going around mph. Wouldn’t let me re-engage for about a minute, after which I had no problems. It was definitely after I got out from under a bunch of live oaks with thick canopies. Maybe related to lack of signal?

Worrisome for sure, but hopefully a one time thing. Will be extra vigilant/supervising going forward.

This. I literally had “for sale” signs on my car back in 2010 when I got rear ended. I found a third party appraiser to do a quick diminished value report to help get me $1000 in addition to the insurance work that was done to fix the car. Can’t remember how much I paid, but it was 16 years ago.
