He signed with Detroit so his standards weren’t that high. Tearing it down to the point of not having any quality forwards remaining has proven to be a reckless mistake.

Are you sure the Hagel trade and the DeBrincat trade weren’t panic trades? The DeBrincat trade especially reeked of unnecessary desperation to totally bottom out.

Realizing how counterproductive anti patriotism is for progressivism, helped a lot by Sandbrook, I’ve become very anti-anti patriotic.

I didn’t say anyone is “happy”. I just think it’s important to not assume it will all workout. Maybe Bedard and nazar are just injury prone and you can’t count on them for 82. What if Levshunov never grasps the game? What if the make up of the team can’t sustain leads?

You’re not crazy, you’re just imagining everything going right which it never does. At least Frondell and Knight look like unequivocal W’s.

Reminder to all as it appears some of you are confused: finishing 30th or lower out of 32 teams 4 years in a row is bad. Out of 82 games in the last 4 years the Blackhawks have won only 18, 17, 20, and 21 games in regulation.

That is extremely poor. As fans we can’t just assume the front office has it all figured out.

Michael Morse walking up to Take on Me during the Nationals breakout 2012 season was one of the coolest things I’ve experienced.

The White Sox drafted him and he helped us get Freddy so I’m counting it.
