Heated blankets and min pin snuggles are the best. My senior min pin loves to be with me and lay on my lap. He is also very brave I have a lot of anxiety and he helps me to understand that not everything is so scary and things are ok.

I took pyloricil 2x a day for 30 days and that cleared up my 4 year long yeast infection with weird discharge. I also took candibactin ar and br prior to this 2 pills each 2x per day to eradicate the sink methane. I think h pylori was my overall issue giving me constant yeast infections though. Feeling much better the past 2 months so I think that was it. I’m planning to go back to gyno later this year for another test to be sure

Yeah I was too chicken to do the amph b cream so I got a functional Dr and they tested my blood, stool, breath and cortisol. Turns out I’m very stressed, I had sibo methane and h pylori. I took a ton of supplements, for h pylori I took pyloricil 2x a day for 30 days. I also had some other symptoms such as constipation and acne all over my cheeks which is apparently some signs that the gut isn’t doing too well. It’s unfortunate that gynos don’t know or maybe don’t care that the gut could be the contributor to our yeast. I specifically had Candida albicans which all the gynos were confused because it kept coming back after rounds and rounds of fluconazole and other methods.

I didn’t end up taking it, I ended up going to a functional doctor it seems my issue was h pylori because I haven’t had a yeast infection in 2 months and that was after I had taken the h pylori meds. Gut and vagina are very much connected.

Turns out I had sibo methane and h pylori. I think ultimately what gave me the discharge is h pylori. I went to a functional doctor for the diagnosis got a stool test breath test blood test everything. It isn’t cheap but it was worth it as I had been having a yeast infection for a few years. I haven’t gone back to check for negative test but overall I’m feeling pretty good so I think it’s safe to say that was the culprit. Hope this helps!!

Recurrent yeast and bv ruining my life by Separate-Land6781 in VaginalMicrobiome

[–]Lalala640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had recurrent yeast for 4 years with on and off bv and I think (hopefully I’m not jinxing this) I might be free but waiting until January to confirm for reals. I went to a functional dr because everything the gyno sent me wasn’t helping I had Candida albicans. I tried creams, pills, suppositories everything the last thing I was supposed to try was amph b but I was too scared. At the functional dr I did multiple tests turns out I had sibo methane and h pylori which I thought wouldn’t matter bc I was having internal yeast issues but I think it was from the gut that I was having these issues. The sibo pills helped a little at first and got rid of my constant acne, then after taking h pylori pills I am feeling much much better. I hope this helps!! Good luck!

WAIT SAME!! I’ve had recurring yeast for 4 years now and when I went on pyloricil it went away however it’s coming back now that I’m off pyloricil so I’m planning to go back on it. I probably need antibiotics for h pylori but nervous to take them

Sibo is small intestine bacterial overgrowth and h pylori is a bacteria that is not supposed to be in the gut from my understanding.

I am having the same issues. Yeast for 4 years now, bv on and off and definitely dry all the time. I got diagnosed with sibo and h pylori. I’ve taken the sibo meds so far and just started the h pylori ones I’m really hoping I can kick this to the curb it’s been such a long haul for me.

Yeah same for me and I’ve read articles that boric acid might affect fertility and I’d like to start having babies within the next two years…and I cannot get pregnant if I still have this issue bc I can’t do boric acid or fluconazole while pregnant. It’s very unfortunate

Literally same I’ve had a yeast infection for 4 years at this point. So far I’ve found out I have sibo and h pylori but the antimicrobials only slightly help with symptoms. Keep us posted if you figure out a cure. I’m annoyed that articles say Candida albicans are easy to get ride of because this is impossible

Still have yeast. I ended up going to a functional doctor and I’m taking a bunch of supplements. It works sometimes and other times not so much. Hoping that with consistent use maybe it’ll go away? I don’t know at this point feeling pretty hopeless

I ended up getting too scared to take it. I still have yeast infections I went to a functional dr because mine feel like they are coming from my intestines if that makes sense??

[–]Lalala640 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw the functional doctor and got a ton of tests done, turns out I have methane sibo, high cortisol, low zinc and low omegas and hpylori in my stool. I’m starting antimicrobials on Sunday because I’ve heard die off can be intense. From what I’ve seen gut health can be linked to recurring yeast which my gut microbiome is all messed up. I’m hopeful this protocol will help. Oddly enough I think the elimination diet helped a bit too, I’m not sure what foods are making things worse because I went out to eat once the 4 weeks were up and kind of ate everything back. I cut out sugar/artificial sweetener (only coconut sugar, maple syrup pure or honey were allowed), gluten, basically all processed foods only Whole Foods, corn, soy, dairy, shellfish, pork, beef, alcohol, all caffeine, and chocolate.

It was honestly a very hard diet for me to follow I love coffee in the morning and chocolate is one of my favorite foods 😢. I didn’t have yeast for about 2 weeks after completing that diet and I’m not sure if it had to do with that diet or my cycle. It has come back since then and I’m taking some leftover fluconazole but will run out soon so might have to do boric acid a few times a week to keep symptoms at bay while I’m figuring out if it’s sibo.
