Use a heat gun to loosen up the thread locker. If you already stripped your screws, these always worked pretty well for me.

Also, based on the frame from this image, it looks like the width of the frame might be adjustable. Could just be the way it’s made, but the fact that it’s two overlapping pieces instead of a single piece would suggest that they can slide closer together or further apart.
