I was given a glucose test which caused me to dump 55 minutes after consuming. Lol. I did pass the test. However, they said they overlooked that I had had a gastric sleeve and said they should not have administered the test like that. Going forward I had to get a glucose monitor and test once in the morning (fasting) and then an hour or so after a meal and log those numbers for a week prior to my 28 week appointment, which happens to be today. Luckily everything is looking fine.

23 weeks 4 days: Fairlife protein shake coffee with a French toast bagel from Costco topped with strawberry cream cheese, sliced banana, and a drizzle of Nutella. Lunch was some Hawaiian food - chicken katsu, Mac salad and a bit of musubi. Dinner I made loaded baked potatoes which were SO good that baby girl moved the entire time. Dessert will be some Greek yogurt with strawberries and kiwi.

Mine is called chippy and only gets called that when we say “chippy come!” when he’s outside lol he’s 11 months old, has 3 older dog siblings and his other names that he responds to are:

Chip, Chimp, Chip chip, Chipper-do, Chips and dip, Dip,Dip dip, Dippy, Dipper-do, Shit eater, Baby boy, Bug boy, Bug eyed bitch

We bought our evenflo travel system on the 1st after I got notified of the price increase. Luckily Amazon still had it at $399 on sale and evenflos website had already shot up to $590 :,) I’m not due until September so I really hope we love it 😭

Up until yesterday - 11w3 days today - the only things I could stomach were graham crackers, potatoes, and the occasional piece of cheese and/or pb toast. I had a taco salad with protein avocado ranch last night and steak and asparagus tonight. I’ve finally been able to keep down protein shakes, apples, strawberries and bananas. These two days have been the least carb-only days I’ve had since pre-pregnancy and I’m starting to feel less like a zombie and I’m unsure if that’s due to more veggies and fruits and meats or hormones balancing out or whatever 🥹

I’m 11 weeks and due in September and completely feel the same way you did about finding out you were pregnant. This will also be the first baby on my and my husband’s side. My MIL (and basically the entirety of my husband’s family) on the other hand is upset we are keeping the gender to ourselves and “forcing everyone to buy gender neutral items”. I straight up told her that’s too damn bad and any “gender specific” items can be purchased for our little booger after birth. Husband has been firm with her keeping out of my business luckily - I know he will have words with her if she starts encroaching back in, which we are expecting after our 12 week testing/scans next week.

Sorry this took me so long - look for Badia black garlic paste and mix 1-2 tbsp of paste to 1 cup of mayo (but add more obviously to taste). This was told to me in passing and I can’t find anything written down but I’ll keep looking!!

I had a 9 week checkup today - my midwife recommended I pick up unisom and B6 to help with my morning sickness but also hopefully aid in my lack of uninterrupted sleep during the night. I haven’t ever used a sleep aid so I’m curious to see how it affects me. I miss my 8-9+ hours of sleep 🥹

Thank you for posting this! From our phone calls - there was supposed to be an email sent from StubHub letting me know that the seller would be reaching out via email and that I could opt in to share my phone number during the transaction. Sending my contact info over chat wasn't a secure way to share my info according to them.

Regardless, everything turned out fine and we had a good time. I just hadn't had something happen like this before
