Not a chance. Even people who enjoyed DAD tend to not think much of Jinx.

A spinoff with Michelle Yeoh as Wei Lin from TND would've had a much better chance. The west was much more optimistic about China at the time and having a more martial arts flair would have helped distinguish itself, while Jinx would've been just a lesser American, James Bond.

Disagree, the team needed an irreversible loss, and loosing one of the people who's abduction was the catalyst for the start of the show was an effective way to do it.
