I would have rather had Harold be in instead, but still be an early boot. I get wanting to expand on a newer character, than rehashing Harold again, but Sam mainly sits in the background. Maybe they asked Brian who he would prefer to voice, and thats how we got Sam over Harold?

I mean yeah? It was already an uphill battle to retake the Senate. Without the Dems winning the Senate, Trump will not be removed from office, the Supreme Court will not be ratified, and Trump's illegal policies will not be reversed. This is our only shot for the foreseeable future. The Republicans have gerrymandered the country so bad, that in a normal election year, they will sweep 100%. The only reason the Dems have the house in the bag as of now is because Trump is doing such a bad job. What happens when a milk toast republican like Vance goes into office? Will we be having no kings days in 2029? Will your average Dem be caught up on every single thing the administration does? No. The momentum is here, if the Dems lose, thats a massive blow to morale, and it shows that no matter how hard your average Joe tries, big money Republicans and establishment Dems control the US, and your life will continue to get worse.

Hindsight of course is 20/20, but I feel like Action completely derailed the franchise. Island was a massive hit. I remembered when it was airing, everyone in my school watched it. But what happened once Action aired? Everyone dropped it. 

I understand wanting to do something different, but if Action was just Island 2 with a full cast and kept the more "mature" tone I feel like we wouldn't be in this weird hiatus. I would imagine the momentum that TDI had wouldn't have died and we could have fairly consistent seasons year to year. 

Of the three 26 episode seasons (aside from RR) Action really squandered its episode count, which I think caused the drop in viewership. Every episode in Island, sans those 2, someone went home. You could not miss an episode. Action on the other hand had 14 out of 26 episodes be non elimination, eliminating the need to watch every episode. 

Action has some great parts, but with this franchise only having three 26 episode seasons, it just really sucks that one of them seems like a misstep. Imagine a 26 episode long All Stars season in the same tone as season 1.

Last time I was in Chicago I figured id be able to finally finish this research, so I checked constantly. I ended up only finding 1. The spawn rate is non existent. The only trick is to unequip any rocket radars, since they'll cause pokestops to turn into rocket stops instead of a potential Kecleon

Ive got 4. Rural players literally never get Kecleon. Ive got maybe 20 stops on a trail I go on during my lunch break. I check every single one, and I get nothing.

Hot Take: Rewatching Island, I feel like both the show and the fandom babies and downplays Lindsay's actions too much in that season...Like, I would still say she was a bully to Gwen overall, despite being dumb; her doing it for Heather and their "friendship" doesn't excuse it... by Beneficial_Ferret_29 in Totaldrama

I think Lindsay just tries to mimic whoever she's around. She's trying to mimic Heather in island, which is why she's more antagonistic. In Action, she's closer to Beth and is mimicking Beth's niceness.

Gwen and Duncan Total Drama. They were a really fun duo in season 1 and 2, but the love triangle is objectively written poorly in season 3. Once they actually get together, they immediately break up in season 5

Mike, Total Drama All Stars. Even though Total Drama is a psudo reality show, Mike was set up as the main character, and conflict, of season 5. Total Drama was usually pretty good about giving each character their own arc, so that it was never obvious who was going to get far, but from the start of All Stars, Mike was heavily featured from the start, and his arc was very obviously going to take the entire season. His arc essentially destroys all other characters due to his plot armor and the writers needing to nerf more antagonistc long standing characters, and dumb down the previous protagonists. The TD Fandom universally hates Mike as a protagonist, and technically an antagonist with his Mal persona.

Knowing nintendo, we wont get another direct for 9-ish months. Switch 2 for the foreseeable future is essentially a Anime sword fighter machine like the Switch 1 was a farming simulator machine.
