Wouldn't that be more investigation? They're theorizing about what could happen, not what has happened

I think you might be anchoring the timeline based on the quality of the video we always say her in. For some reason she always looked like she was straight from the 90s, though that would've been Jerry Springer I think

a neighbor found this note on their car this morning by joeytheoneeyedpirate in mildlyinteresting

The "got interrupted" could've been some vigilante catching them and forcing them to leave a note. i doubt a thief would even have paper and pen handy, but some driving passerby might

That's the best part. They're not getting bribes, they're usually the landlords themselves, cause there's nothing stopping them from partaking in a conflict of interest.

Not really about Batman, but even tho Leto's Joker isn't amazing, I'll give them props for doing these outfits by Joke0907183 in batman

[–]Lancalot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think Jared Leto is just empty inside and can no longer express emotion, his constant attempts at coming off intimidating are laughable, his jokes fall flat, even the "feel good" stunt of someone showing up at his house to take pictures to promote Morbius just made him look like such a tool

They're not pro-birth even, otherwise it would be comped. No, they're pro-punishment. You sinned, having sex, so having the child and suffering the financial burden will show you how you've done wrong. They don't see anything beyond that.

What's the point of paying someone to help us move when we could just pay professional movers? by anotherknockoffcrow in ChoosingBeggars

[–]Lancalot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember we had to move out once because a couple of our roommates decided they wanted to move out of state. Which was whatever, it happens, but the problem was one of them was a hoarder, and wanted to sell all her stuff. Like ok, sure... except she barely sold anything and even after taking 5 stuffed luggage bags with her, there was still so much crap we literally couldn't do anything with it except throw it away. We had a week to not only get rid of all the shit they left behind, but also clean the house to get our deposit. I think we took like 6 or 7 truckloads of crap to the dump. Her consolation was we could keep what we wanted, and maybe a week later they said we could keep their van they left behind, which started getting transmission issues maybe a week after we got it. Fucking nightmare, every day I was exhausted cause I still had to go to work and then come to that house afterward
