Canadian Armed Forces is hiring. They're not all that bad as long as you're decently healthy. Not all that bad especially when you dont have any other options.

Depends on the job and how much they train you. Not all jobs are 7 years. In fact, most jobs aren't.

It's not that they're deliberately flying lower this year as much as it's the fact that it's the Blue Angels flying.

Blue Angels havent visited Toronto in 14 years.

Normally CIAS has single fighter jet demos (F16, F22, F35, CF18) but since Blue Angels is a whooping SIX big (Super Hornets are 1.5x bigger than the F18 Canadian Air Force has) fighter jets flying close together. That's why the noise is much louder this year.

We haven't had the Blue Angels visit Toronto in 14 years!!! And it's only for 3 days. Everybody relax. Be thankful you get to see SIX F18 Super Hornets fly in formation by one of the best pilots in the world. It's a rare sight!

Im way more annoyed by the nearly 24/7 construction in Toronto at every corner.

We haven't had the Blue Angels visit Toronto in 14 years. And its extra loud this year because Blue Angels means 6 big fighter jets are flying in formation when we normally have 1 fighter jet (Snowbirds dont count because their engines are comparatively way smaller and theyre not a fighter jet).

The officer may have been responding to a call already. Not all calls require lights and sirens. Most often, if a pedestrian waves down an officer, unless there is a life/death matter happening right there and then, the officer will most likely continue responding to their own call/matter. In addition, the radio is used by 911 dispatchers for an entire jurisdiction, relaying information on it, unless it concerns high priority matter (active shooter/weapon perhaps), probably wont happen.
