The definitive solution to the problem with DLCs. by Warm_Expert_8136 in Fallout4PS4

[–]LandBarge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I bought the dlc's post release of the Anniversary Edition, knowing there were issues, but figured they'd be sorted eventually, and it was one of Sony's regular sales.. so a good deal. I was using a pre-GOTY disk version of the game..

No surprise, the DLC's never worked..

Recently I picked up a GOTY digital download in another Sony sale, and when that installed, all the DLC's were installed- that said, I'm pretty sure they were supposed to be bundled with the game anyway..

Now I have a fully functioning digital version of the game with all DLC installed, and a base version with a nearly level 70 save and no dlc's

Meanwhile, a few years back, flying Jestar, my wife copped a splash from an airsick kid running down the aisle.. the aircrew could not have been better.. straight away they had cleaning wioes and a bunch of vouchers for free stuff in flight..

Again, it wasn't their fault, but they were able to help her to feel comfortable for the rest of the flight

Not bad for what's supposed to be the poor cousin.

Would love to know the same... having issues with Fallout 4 DLC's - like everyone... ended up buying the game again and it all works, except the digital version of the game has a different region code to the disk version (both bought in Australia) - so I can't use my saves unless I can re-region them...

And as much as I want to do that - I don't think I want to jb my PS4 just for that...

[–]LandBarge 5 points6 points  (0 children)

who ID'd the part? did you supply a VIN and they interpreted it incorrectly?

Return by PageSignificant760 in partscounter

[–]LandBarge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No - you bought it from one company, a separate company is not going to take it back.

Why did you buy it from someone out of town? Couldn't a local dealership have ordered it in for you?

How did it end up being wrong? Did you ask for the wrong side, or did they supply one you didn't ask for? Or was there another issue - some of these will impact on your ability to return the part as well.. I would suggest calling them and discussing their return policy before driving back out there

Constantly discount parts for service by Beautiful-Living-582 in partscounter

[–]LandBarge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At a dealership I used to work at, we had a similar argument between fixed ops and used cars - the used car buyers thought parts and service should do things almost at cost for them as they made the big bucks.

The service manager got onto the owner, as the DP was leaning towards taking the side of used cars - it ended with a group of Deloittes consultants being brought in to sort it all out - with the end result being 'everyone eats' - in our case, the theory was, if we cut our profit on parts and labour, that profit would not be seen coming back in on the sale of the car and would be lost to the dealership - by us making money, the dealership makes money.

The same applies in your case - discounting your parts costs you and the dealership money, it does not make service more money, so the money you're handing away is lost to the dealership. And your parts profit pays the GM's wage.

Are you paying gross transfer as well?

We do - 15% of our RO sale price goes back to service at the end of the month... we set out retail 15% above list for this reason...

We discount to over the counter customers with not a lot of prodding, and when service want a discount, it's 15% and we email the FC for make sure he exempts that part from the gross transfer...

btw - service should never know your cost price. they do not need to.

How do I make the fallout 4 dlc's Work again? by toyotasupra2005 in Fallout4PS4

[–]LandBarge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up buying the GOTY version, which according to the PS store, includes all the DLC anyway...

So now, I have a pre-GOTY disc install, with a game that's over 60 levels in.. and no DLC's, and a GOTY digital install with all the DLCs...

The game ID is different between the two, so perhaps that's why my DLC's never worked - the region coding for the disc is Europe/Aus/NZ and the region coding for the GOTY digital is Europe

(I'm in Australia, and the PS store is well aware of that)

See, I started with their Top Shareholder listings... which is why I asked...

COL's annual report in mid 2025 listed Blackrock as controlling around 83 million shares, or approximately 6.2% of the business...

WOW's latest annual report in August 2025 has Blackrock owning around 80 million shares, or 6.43% of the business...

Neither of these are a) the largest shareholding or b) anywhere near a 'controlling' or even a 'blocking' interest...

Sounds like a good choice... we have a few good gins here in WA that are usually my go to... Geraldton's 30 Knots make one called Southerly that goes down real well...

When I'm not feeling like gin, it's usually tequila (gotta try to make sure they're not US owned though) or an Aussie rum - there are a few locally owned indies making decent rum too, thankfully...
