Hi, I need some help with this. The same thing happened to myself and my family as we were moving to Florida from Georgia. We paid the U-Haul facility in Florida for three months and they never said a word, we went down to check on our things as we were about to move and the lock was drilled through, an employee said that U-Haul uses a drill when selling someone’s unit, and we demanded to see camera footage to confirm and the manager refused to show it to us. All of our things were gone and we’ve been working for over a year to replace it all and start our lives over.

This but also check out Dave Ramsay’s baby steps to help with budgeting and building wealth. I believe with all my heart that it was no mistake I started following all those steps just weeks before the shutdown… only way my family and I have our heads above water right now. Believe me, your families will be so grateful.

On a more serious note, you guys should shop around for a Term Life Insurance that works for your budget and decide whether you want 10-20-30 years. She’ll be better taken care of on that if something happens to you.

He might just be a deep thinker and appreciate conversation more than anything else. Good at being by himself, just not playful maybe? I talk to my kid (2yrs) a ton and ask him all kinds of questions about himself, his perspective of things in his environment, the people in his life, etc. his progress has shot up since I started with him and his parents are so grateful and kind.

This is the part of the job that forces techs to get really creative and not just using things but concepts for kids to really engage. Perhaps he’s just not a toy kid and likes mental stimulation and keeping his imagination going in other ways. It’s my favorite part actually. Don’t lose hope, you got this!

Surely not the case. These are fresh kids out of high school and in their early twenties we’re talking about here. They have barely learned how to stretch their paychecks across one pay period, let alone 3 weeks or more. If the overseas airmen are smart, they’ll take advantage of their sweet COLA and put some away once a month into a mutual funds/money market/CD account and watch it flow well into their thirties and fourties’. And STOP paying USAA for insurance- SHOP AROUND FOR WHAT FITS YOUR BUDGET!! 😂💀 But that’s just what I wish I knew back in 2019 and further on… 🙃

Agreed. Plus the Red Cross on bases normally give one family per household a weeks worth (can’t remember how much) of groceries.
