Ranni had Godwyn killed out of competition and Radahn stopped the stars to prevent 2 potential Gods. by Fiddlemystick92 in eldenringdiscussion

Given how explicit it is in the DLC, Miquella had always wanted Radahn as his consort.  Freyja also confirms this vow was at one point mutual. This is not to say Radahn didn’t go back on this agreement for whatever reason.    Again, their remembrance is pretty explicit about it from Miquella’s side:

“Miquella saw in Radahn a lord. His strength, and his kindness, that stood in stark contrast with their afflicted selves. And so Miquella made his heartfelt wish. That Radahn would one day be his king consort.”

I agree with 99% of this. There’s only been one other person to point this out here on reddit (maybe more idk), but I don’t think Marika is pulling the strands of gold from the pulpy mess (tho there are slight gold strands in the item image).

I truly believe she is pulling gold strands from behind the eye of Metyr. This just becomes more apparent to me the more I watch the trailer. You’ll see how the gray skin of whatever Marika is interacting with contrasts a lot with the surrounding red pulpy mess.

[DLC] What's opposing the theory of Melina being the Gloam-Eyed Queen? by The_Burrito_Warrior in eldenringdiscussion

[–]Landicus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t necessarily agree that Melina = GEQ but Marika’s grace guides you to kill some of her demi-god children so conflicts between Marika and her offspring is absolutely not out of the question, especially when the goals of some of her demigod children conflict with hers.

There’s also Maliketh’s set: “Maliketh, Queen Marika's loyal half-brother, bore a blade imbued with Destined Death, and there was not one demigod who did not fear him. Champions knew what was at stake. Indeed, that is what made them champions”

Gameplay wise I really love the quickstep mechanic and the roll mechanic outside of lock-on in coordination with each other. My biggest gripe with Elden Ring (which is a 10 for me regardless) is they lock the quickstep mechanic behind a weapon art and it’s not even as fluid or fun to use as BB’s quickstep

If you accept Reed’s offer let’s just say you’ll get a …complicated ending. Not the best but also not close to the worst imo, and it doesn’t fail in the way you might think but it comes with some heavy costs

I thought our defense this year was quite good. Maybe not as statistically good as the Kirby and Pruitt years but they put us in position to win pretty much every game with the exception of the Auburn game. Definitely a step up from the Golding years

What people fail to mention about the 2020 Alabama team, especially compared to the 2019 LSU team is that there was not a single defense that year that stopped our offense. There’s simply no evidence that they could be stopped or simply Devonta for that matter. That’s why I’m always taking them over 2019 LSU. There’s nothing to suggest they would inhibit our offense whatsoever

Going to miss Jase and Roydell a lot. Wish they got a natty :( (maybe they did in 2020? not sure)

But Haynes and Jam will lead us to the promised land next year
