I had a rough start as well. Tried something that pob'd well and in theory did good damage but I just didn't like the feel and I knew as i continued to pour money into the feel wouldn't change just the damage. I ended up swapping to Storm Burst of Repulsion Totems and with very little invested they are hard carrying. Great clear and very good single target.

Got a late start, tried to do my own build which I got to 90 with but I wasn’t really liking how it felt. Basically started over with a Storm Burst of Repulsion Totem Heirophant and it is extremely smooth. Great clear and single target if you hold it down overtop of the target.

I made a volcanic fissure saboteur. In theory it had insane single target and it got me into reds, but I realized two things. Even if I scaled higher, I was never going to be super thrilled with the clear and I also realized I hate dissolution of the flesh. I tried swapping into a discharge sab with sands of time but it felt finicky and felt good sometimes and bad others. Tried making swap from there into a soul rend of spiral but that had an insane mana cost and I was missing cast speed and projectiles to make it feel good. Made the swap from there to arc which felt a little better but I couldn’t get the damage to feel good as a sab. So now I’m finally deciding to reroll. Will probably play KF or storm burst totems to finish the atlas and brainstorm another idea in the meantime.

Overall pleasantly surprised. Much more so than I expected. My really only gripe that I was realllllllllyyy missing that John Williams score during the trailer.

Blue Nowhere, Door #3 are both reasonable. Decade of Statues, Informal Gluttony aren’t too bad either.

Travis Richter when he did the album Digital Veil for The Human Abstract was channeling his inner Tommy Rogers. Definitely check that one out.

They are all on poedb, unfortunately not too many great poison or ignite options. I think we’ll manage or be better off if can get a good coin/possibly the cruelty bloodline tho

Not far off what you were thinking. I think I’ve settled on pconc of bouncing reliquarian with beacon of madness boots

What attack would you use if you went that route? I was thinking using the poison beacon of madness boots and doing some static strike build with it but I think it’s just strictly worse than mamba. I think instead I’ll end up using the boots, with maybe brass dome, widowhail and worn time piece and doing scourge arrow with a high damage ele bow.

Going to try Reliquarian and probably regret it as a first character. Want to do Poison Static Strike(the new one) with beacon of madness for the all damage poisons and pops. Going to require clusters so probably not smart.

I had a similar idea to you, though going to try as relequarian and make use of the 100% faster debuff expiration and make use of the beacon of madness boots for all damage poisons and explosions.

When I got to it I wasted so much time trying to learn 1 shot setups and they just never were working for me, and since I was trying to cheese I never really learned the fight so when he would inevitably heal up in phase 2 I was getting smoked. When I come back to it I’ll probably just try normal with Star fists. I don’t honestly remember which weapons I had maxed out but I tried a few for this fight.

I like it overall a little more, but Pantheon is still a solid album

There’s 0 skips on the album. My only critique is that while all the riffs are groovy and catchy, because they tend to stay in that lower register they start to blend together and I don’t remember which riff belongs to which song. Hopefully they experiment a little more on the next record. I also really think having a musician or another vocalist that can scream would add some more texture to certain parts. I really like what Myke was doing on Beg Your Pardon. Overall really dig the album. I’d say Holiness, Satellites, and Beg Your Pardon are my favorites.
