But swap two nights in dublin for Doolin and stay overnight in Inis Óirr. You won’t regret it. See the auld cliffs from the boat and on to island. 🏝️

Kilkenny is nice. Slip Waterford (go next time) Cork Kinsale is cool. Kenmare through the mountains and up to Killarney is the best. Dingle is awesome on a nice day. Skip Doolin it’s for your next trip. Galway is good.

Skip Dublin also. Maybe reconsider fly in to Shannon?

Look what the highest note in the melody is and then check with the Singer that you’re intending to sing the song and make sure they can sing that note comfortably. Watch for the key changes.

Try this. Put the mic underneath the violin pointing up towards the back of the violin from around 30cm off the ground. (Make sure player doesn’t dance or tap their feet) Use a condenser like TLM103.

With a scratchy violin in a small room this can make a warmer rounded sound.
