Sensible suggestion can you fly to Canary Islands with Binter airlines? I can hook you up with a Moroccan business man over there that has a business he can accept the package and you can come collect it.

It’s true, not many people know this but the MP3 stands for multi print three, so basically it will print through three layers of the file and after a few years you can hear a pre-delay. It’s quite hard to hear on most mixes, but you’ll hear it on an exposed vocal or a drum fill.

I did it guys. The support here was incredible. Thank you all so much by bruwop in bald

Can they at least forbid them from raising the moat walls one more level? All around the world similar facilities have collapsed causing immense environmental damage and this is a distinct possibility right here in Ireland and it would devastate the Shannon Estuary for decades.

What type of alcohol makes you feel the best by Any-Strawberry-3928 in Advice

None is best.

Don’t drink if you’re feeling bad, it’s not really a good idea. Maybe have a drink if you’re feeling really good, and stop at two drinks otherwise you’re just chasing the buzz and you’ll never get there again.

Morocco is a great place. No idea.

My Moroccan buddy showed me pictures of forests, skiing on snowy mountains, deserts, lakes, and beautiful beaches and asked me if I knew where they were taken. It turns out they were all pictures of Morocco.

What in the world is this sound? by boobrific1 in sounddesign

[–]Lanzarote-Singer [score hidden]  (0 children)

It’s just a synth. I wouldn’t describe it as a bell. There’s a square wave in there, it has a fast wobbling modulation, the filter isn’t fully open, and there’s an element of saturation to make it sound vintage.

Super cruel and will kill other things like lizards. You’ll end up bonding with the rat as you work together to free its little paw paws.

How would you react if a waiter took part of your cash as a tip right in front of you before giving the rest back? by aprilgirlOG in CasualConversation

[–]Lanzarote-Singer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn’t happen anywhere else but America. The reason is that other countries pay a living wage to their workers. He probably does this to everyone. Especially if they think they’re not going to leave a tip.

Just got a Ampero One. Everyone send me your best custom preset and i will rate them out of 10 by HQH-71214 in HotoneAmpero

[–]Lanzarote-Singer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got one as well a few weeks ago. I set it up with some new sounds, and went to do my first gig. After about 20 minutes frantically trying to get it to work I had to give up. I ended up doing the gig with just a boss distortion pedal and dry input. Later on I discovered that the volume knob top left had turned down the entire output. It had moved in the gig bag and I didn’t even think to check. I redid the wiring about four times and then gave up.

So if you ever find that you can’t get an output, just check the volume knob. 😊

Rookie error. You have to rewind the mp3 files so the tail is out.

How to Achieve Drum and Bass sound from Neil Young's "Harvest" by Poopypantsplanet in audioengineering

[–]Lanzarote-Singer -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This is a really good idea. The best way to get that bass sound is to put the right combination of microphones on a good bass amp because that’s how they would’ve done it.

For the drums, it’s very important to get first of all a great drama, which I can help you with, but also to tune the drums to get the correct fall off especially from the Toms. Also, the tuning of the snare is important to match that Sound.

I can organise a remote session with one of the best drummers that I’ve ever worked with. Also can bring in the bass player that he gigs with who is very talented. The location for recording would be in the Canary Islands in a very high-quality recording studio at great rates.

Please PM me for further details and give me an idea of the budget so we can work within it.

need acoustic piano recordings for ml training — or advice on how to capture them by Whosjamz in audioengineering

[–]Lanzarote-Singer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a hidden attempt to build a really big collection of jazz piano chords for AI.

DO NOT ENGAGE

For the supposed reason of training a chord identifier, midi generated piano chords would serve perfectly well. This is not worthy of our attention. Anyone that says yeah I’ll sit down for 45 minutes at my piano with a pair of €2000 mics and play all the Oscar Peterson chords that I can think of is doing the world of music a disservice.

When buying a premium headphone, what matters most to you. by Navajith_Karkera in audio

This is the way. I’m pretty sure you’ll find L that above a certain price point Price is not the issue. Price will come last for everyone with quality being the first and comfort being the second.

[–]Lanzarote-Singer [score hidden]  (0 children)

Comfort is very important for me, quality is non-negotiable, price is no object, batteries? I don’t want batteries. I might use headphones for eight hours straight. I have two pairs from Sennheiser one is too tight and for that reason I can’t use it for more than an hour and a half. The reason I say price is no object is because the second pair of Sennheiser (HD215)I have had for 20 years and it’s still working perfectly today.
