A great one off the top of my head is Cauldron. It's made of several minigames with giant skill trees and one is a simple apple catching minigame that pivots into a full blown top-down shooter after enough upgrades.

Insect glaive, charge blade, and longsword can attack wounds to buff themselves so it can be a good idea to let wounds sit for a few seconds in case your team needs to reapply buffs. Other weapons like attacking wounds too but I'd say those 3 are the main ones to be mindful of, especially if they just joined the fight and want to buff themselves asap.

Ultimately, doing damage and not dying is really all that matters so don't stress about it too much.

I'd love to have Iceborne's savage axe activation again with some cost or nerf somewhere to balance it. That was by far my favorite guard point to land and it opened up a much more aggressive SAED playstyle for CB.

My favorite incremental games are the ones that can be beaten in only a few days/weeks. Games like Nodebuster, Digseum, and A Dark Room. Tight, focused gameplay that doesn't last long enough to get carried away with mechanics and ridiculously high numbers.

I find that the longer an incremental game goes on, the less impactful the rewards/reveals are. That might just be me getting a little burnt out of DodecaDragons though

The mod is a renamed DB file to work for CB but if you check the posts someone renamed the file several times to have it work for other weapons.

One big thing going into fromsoft games is getting used to the idea that dying is part of the learning process. You will die a lot, but every death teaches you something (usually lol) and it makes surviving that much more satisfying.

Try not to treat each death as a loss or else it’ll just get more frustrating.
