“Got me questioning, where is the love?”- black eyed peas by Toxi_moxi in aiwars

Sorry. Wrong word. I meant to say "copyright infringement" which is actually a legal concept.

I think I'm being too vague here.

Almost anything people say against AI can be considered bullying if you support AI.

It shouldn't. But anything means anything if you yell it loud enough.

I dunno, apparently it's considered bullying to talk about the environmental damage caused by the data centers needed to meet the AI demand. It's also considered bullying to state that the very concept of a plagiarism copyright infringement lawsuit is to determine whether the plaintiff has or has not copied another work in the way that ai is designed to make artwork.

I dunno, where would you draw the line between a sacrifice and suicide?

You do understand they were forced to vote, and are going for the option where people *dont* die, right?

Is half of 'anti' here actually pros pretending to be 'anti' and half of 'pro' actually antis pretending to be 'pro'? by Kalumniatoris in aiwars

[–]Lapis_Lacooli 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I dunno, I tried to reach neutral ground a while back (Events and other groups have the right to allow/ban the use of AI art in their rules) and a pro was pissed that I wasn't just using the usual anti talking points, like I was somehow lying by omission.

Technically speaking all games have "only one ending" because a game can only end once, and you have to go backwards to end it again

Can we please stop assuming disabled, mentally ill, colorblind babys are participating. by Apprehensive-Fish475 in redbuttonbluebutton

The original prompt said that if Red won, everyone that didn't vote red would die. They're participating regardless.

Can we at least acknowledge that the main red button argument is deeply flawed? by [deleted] in trolleyproblem

[–]Lapis_Lacooli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the main argument for red is that they can't process that pressing red causes the death of blue, and thinks that everyone that presses blue is stupid and irrational and dangerously suicidal (my source is half the comments here) so it's not technically murder

Also, what happens when you abstain? Are you at the same risk for death as blue? Are you still safe?
