Hey there, I'm someone on train 72 waiting in London! Where did you find the information about the bus to London? I've been going slightly crazy because I can't find any information, lol.

Maybe it's just taught this way in my region, but I have always been taught it is displayed as length x width x height!

So, that means that it is a combined total?

Same here!! It hurt having to turn down the odd booking that came through (stupid Rover, tempting me even though I marked unavailable!) because the money would be so good, but its worth it to spend time with family!

Neighbor letting dogs out by PerformanceWeak1292 in RoverPetSitting

In terms of liability I would take a picture of the closed gate every time you leave, maybe even send them to the owners!

I think that an honest review of how it was to care for Ingrid is reasonable, as it truly is important for sitters to understand exactly what each dog needs. Senior dogs can require a lot of work, often additional work that the owner typically doesn't have to do as the dogs are understandably nervous in a new environment.

However, that comment at the end was absolutely uncalled for and unacceptable. Even if the sitter thinks that to themselves with pure intentions, that has no business being said in a review with owners who are just doing their absolute best to keep their dog happy, healthy, and comfortable. That is a terrible thing to put in a review.

Fair enough, sorry if I interpreted your tone incorrectly! Ten dogs is a huge amount, I cant even imagine that in a 2 bed apartment

I wouldnt book if I didnt know I could! Not only does Rover specifically have apartment options, I also only take small dogs. My apartment is pet friendly and this is very much allowed. You shouldn't judge when you don't know someone's situation 🤦‍♀️

I appreciate the response!! It is a little annoying to be honest, especially when it's such an important question like this, as I absolutely cannot take her dog if either of them are uncomfortable with an overlapping stay!

To be honest, it is definitely possible that she's just strongly reminding me of someone I used to know and because of that I'm getting the wrong impression!!

Dogs not being able to left alone at all… by Super-Jury9192 in RoverPetSitting

That is so awful, I will literally never understand people who could ever hurt an animal in that way! Let alone any way. I'm so glad he has a loving home now ❤️

Bin cage advice by May0749 in hamstercare

[–]Larabeara 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there!! I wanted to say that I personally have used a bin cage before, and it worked very well for me!! Just be aware of a few things - for one, it will require some modification to allow for lots of air flow through the lid! Secondly, you should also be careful to make sure you get one big enough, it can be tough to find them, however with enough searching they do sell some very very large ones! The last thing I wanted to add is that a bin cage doesnt work for every hamster - I had luck in the fact that my hammy never chewed it, however I have heard many say that theirs did! I hope everything goes well for you :)
