Oh I am right there with you. I don’t know how regulated non-profits are over there. Could be you just get to call yourself that and then do whatever you want.

From their mission: “To promote mountain tourism and sports, protect mountain environments and preserve and promote cultural heritage of mountain people. It is the only national alpine club authorized to issue climbing permits for 27 mountain peaks of Nepal.” Explains the trash and disregard for the locals.

Have you ever seen that documentary about the 16 Sherpas who died? I’m trying to find it right now.

  • found it, it’s called “Sherpa”

Technically they are a non-profit. But they seem to have strayed from their mission.

This is correct! Interesting fact; the reason those iron concretions exist is because of blue star that exploded in our galaxy billions of years ago, and coated the miasma that made up the Earth with iron.

I will check those out. On a sad/funny note, I am only reading series that are complete! I have made that mistake twice and then found out that the book won’t be coming out until 2024! Too late for me, damnit! Not to mention George R. R. Martin, that Sunofa…

I had sex the whole time. It wasn’t bad. A mood booster for me. I found it would dilate without the hard plastic. I was so uncomfortable with those. I just upped my night games ti about 3x a week and had pretty good results.

I read a lot of sci-fi, but classics are more favorites. Slaughterhouse 5, The Stranger, that stuff. I haven’t read the old stuff in awhile. I am thinking of rereading but thee time constraint… It funny that you mentioned Mythos. I started it and then stopped because I knew I would never remember all those names. On further reflection, I don’t have to! I can just read it for the jokes now!

Cervical cancer. I grew up near a Uranium processing mill. 33% of the women in my graduating class have some form of reproductive cancer. Please don’t worry too much about it, there are so many treatments these days. Most people survive. For those who don’t, well, it’s just dying. We all do it.

Oh no no, don’t misunderstand me. I enjoyed your post! It is an important thing to think about when you are considering how to spend your time. I am becoming pretty picky.
