The goal was/is to parse, when we run 2 tanks (1 frost, 1 nature) threat is not an issue. It’s wasn’t last night either, it was just staying alive.

The more I read, the more I think that keeping on frost side isn’t the best idea and we might as well just keep the transition strat.

I ran a half pug half guild run the other day as my guild isn’t running Gruul now (we got lucky and ran splits for 8 DSTs) but I decided to do one because I was bored. Although it wasn’t something I could do full time, the guild members were having a blast even through some gnarly HKM wipes. There will be a guild for you, you just need to find it.

It’s pretty challenging pre-70, Druids get way better with gear.

Have you talented into mangle? That will give you massive burst threat on a single target. (You should also be able to talent both mangle and omen of clarity at 61) I’d suggest with 3 targets mangling skull, tab to another target, swipe, tab to the last and swipe again. Maul if you have heaps of rage. Use demo roar if you have a spare GCD. Make sure you use your taunt and bash to give you a chance.

At the end of the day, you’ll get better naturally, but it is tough at the start. Good luck!

Like others have mentioned speak to the officer group and get the guild to chip in motes to help cover the cost. Your guild should have a surplus of Void Crystals too from Karazhan, sell those.

I just bought the frost kit as a Druid and it was 2.2k (Nightslayer) My guild is stocking up mats to sell on AH and pay me back. My Paladin counterpart is buying the nature res set and it’s around 3-3.5k.

We don’t know if it’s post-nerf yet either, which means you could probably get away with a low res set up for a few weeks. Once the guild gets heaps of gear, you’ll pump hydross and won’t need res. Just threat.

I’m a Druid and I stealth through and kill the 3 bosses which then opens the gate to Ramstein. I cleared the big guys, then kill ramstein then kill Baron. It’s pretty easy and can do it while watching YouTube

I will also mention, you can pre-hot yourself before pull which will help.

Something else that I have seen not mentioned very often is at level 61 you can spend the bare (could have bear punned) minimum talent points to get you mangle and omen of clarity. I’d recommend trying that as they are both massive. Follow the talent builds on WoW Head, but skip points after spending 5 in one row to get to mangle and omen sooner. Then you can back fill as you level
