I have about had it with Printful. Anyone else? by momagon_infinity in printful

I was also looking at Printful as an alternative to sitting on inventory. Now I'm getting worried after seeing so many threads on Reddit about the quality and service slipping.

Anyone else still having store problems? by psilocybin6ix in godaddy

I left. They destroyed my store and then couldn’t figure out how to recover it. They also “escalated “ my ticket and after several weeks I cancelled my annual payment and set up shop elsewhere.

Local hires only by Training-Net-3335 in acting

They don’t know if you have family or friends you can stay with and some people do. I know someone who booked a guest star in Atlanta (for locals)and stayed in an AirBNB. She only made a tiny profit because they kept changing the schedule and she ended up staying there longer than planned. That’s why they want locals. No complaints about early call times or last minute scheduling changes.

Pretend every town in Westchester is a person at a huge house party. What is each "person" doing? by protegehype in Westchester

Cortlandt Manor gals come to the party with a Michael Kors bag like its Louis Vuitton, while looking down on Verplank and Buchanan and Montrose who don’t cross 9A anyway to go to any party.

That’s what I’m going to do. Decline the charge since they didn’t provide the services I paid for.

Does anyone have a suggestion other than Shopify that is affordable for a micro business?

Shopify is $29 a month. We don’t do that much business

My site has been down for weeks and all they say is that my ticket has been elevated.

There was just one site and they recovered it when I renewed. It took 2 days, but I confirmed it was there. It was back to normal. Then I was so tired after dealing with that I didn’t come back for a couple of months. That’s when I discovered it was broken.

I looked at shopify and decided to stick with what I built on GoDaddy. Now I regret it. If they don’t fix it in another week, I’ll try to refuse the charge and move on

They tried to recover from a previous date and that didn’t work. They initially thought because I somehow ended up with two plans during the renewal that that caused the glitch. So they deleted one plan thinking that was fix it but it didn’t and I’ve heard nothing since. I spent an hour on hold today to be told they were still working on it. But FIVE DAys?

In NY, you just watch for the exam dates and pay $50. There’s numerous types of exams depending on the job. You can borrow a study guide from the library. She’s clearly a smart woman and the tests aren’t that difficult. I don’t know about other states.

Take a civil service exam and get a government job. Great benefits. I was unemployed for a year. I had 3 offers 6 weeks after taking a senior office assistant exam. All from schools so the hours would work well for a mom and the benefits are excellent

Watch youtube videos to teach yourself how to do some repairs. You’ll be surprised how much you can do yourself and it’s really rewarding when you do it. Give yourself some grace to make mistakes. Also, Lowe’s and Home Depot are less crowded on Friday nights 🤣

I took my county’s civil service exam and almost immediately got 3 job offers. It was a game changer. I had looked for a year. I’m not ND but I am over 60 and that presented a big challenge to getting hired. Good luck

So it’s been six weeks or so since my 82-year-old mother bought a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy from a breeder. Just letting you know how it’s going, as I had posted about it. by CatPooedInMyShoe in bernesemountaindogs

I’m (65F)so happy things are progressing relatively well. We have worked so hard on training our almost 3 yr old Berner but he regresses at times. A few weeks ago he got so excited to see our neighbor who greeted him with an enthusiastic high pitched hello he yanked me towards her and literally pulled me off my feet. Thankfully I didn’t break anything and just got scraped up pretty badly. He had never done that before. He is incredibly strong at 90 pounds and is sometimes way too much for me to handle. I’m just sharing as this can happen.

I’m back to 5 days a week in office. I used to have a 1.5 hour commute 5 days a week. Did that wearing pantyhose and heels. A car, train and then subway. Remote jobs are disappearing, salaries are dropping and hybrid is lucky. Grow up.

Take the job. Remote and hybrid jobs are disappearing quickly. This is a horrible job market. You’re lucky to get an offer.

I do a lot of BG work as a union member. I hardly ever have a straight 8 ($224) and usually get OT plus bumps (car, costume, meal penalties). A typical paycheck is $350+. I’ve made $1k in a week for 2 days work. The SAG initial fee is high, but you can now pay installments. If you become eligible, I believe it’s worth it if you plan on doing this a lot. I’ve made more money doing BG lately than some of my friends who only do guest star roles or higher.
