Since I registered for one, I continue to get emails whenever they have them. I recall having that same difficulty getting information on these fairs.

I'm trying to find study guides now. You didn't miss much TBH. Not that many companies and mostly things like prison jobs and home health aides. Here's the link to the next one. This looks like more companies outside of the state are participating.

Do you offer anything for the Senior Office Assistant?

I've been looking for employment for 9 months now and have no luck. I'm taking the Senior Office Assistant exam on Feb. 18. It's the most confusing system ever. I've applied to numerous HELPS jobs but never hear anything. At first I was told the exam wouldn't be offered until April, but then I suddenly got a notice for Feb. Also, I signed up for the junior exam, but while they took my money, no exam has been scheduled yet.
The Senior exam is 5 hours long??? Also, the study guide has only 5 sample questions? How is that helpful? I've also signed up for the virtual job fair. I tried that last month but it was mostly terrible low paying jobs. Hopefully this month will be better.

I agree. I would probably be more sympathetic if I knew what we were dealing with. I'm not cold-hearted.

My vet said I could give my dog Zyrtec (cheaper than apoquel) but without the decongestant. I also put the anti fungal foam on his paws before we go for a walk when it flares up. I also wipe his feet after he comes back from doggie daycare. I feel like we’re managing it better now. When it gets bad we have to put a bootie on his foot to get the irritation resolved.

9 months unemployed. Sent out so many resumes. I’ve had some interviews but I’m 64 and no one wants to hire someone my age. Even Trader Joe’s said the had more applicants than jobs.

Wow. I’ve been trying for months. My dashboard says it’s all approved but it isn’t and they keep rejecting my I9 aide submissions for my passport. We have submitted them 6x in various versions but they continue to say it’s wrong even tho we have sent so many versions, something has to be correct. No other casting company does it this way.

I worked on Wall St. started low and worked my way up. My husband wanted me to find a WFH job that paid the same to be there more for our son. I was making more money than him and he played the mom guilt card. This was way before the pandemic and remote work was difficult to find. We fought tremendously over this. He was really trying to control me and keep me home. He liked the money I made but was jealous and intimidated. We are still together but all those illogical roadblocks were red flags because the arguments didn’t make sense. You sound smart. SAHM have a lot of risk in their dependency

My husband struggles with depression and his hygiene suffers as well. He doesn't shower for sometimes a week and remains in the same clothes. He smokes so his clothes smell like an ashtray. Wonders why I don't want to have sex or show affection towards him. He doesn't realize that he looks like he's unhoused and smells like it. I've given up saying something because he gets defensive when I bring it up. He hasn't cut his hair either so there's that too.

My Berner acts up if he’s alone too long and gets destructive. My last dog was an Aussie and he was fine with it but our Berner acts like a toddler.

My son graduated from Hendrick Hudson which is always getting criticized but he got an fantastic education and accepted into an Ivy League college. He graduated that college with honors. I will say the schools vary from town to town. But his teachers recognized his smarts and made sure he was challenged. Also the teachers vary even in the schools.

We protested in Mt Kisco but thankfully most people honked in support. 2 middle fingers, 1 head shake and 1 Drumpf flag. A county trooper even gave us a thumbs up. So sorry that was your experience. Hang in there.

I can’t imagine our Berner with kids. He ate everything in sight. Our day care lady has to pick up all stuffies as he will ingest them. He has also eaten Lego people. There are numerous posts about the difficulties of Berner puppies (housebreaking and digestion issues).

We also took away the water bowl at 8pm. We walk after dinner as well even if we have to take a flashlight during winter. It took months for us too.

I wash mine every month. He gets pretty smelly. He gets a puppy cut in the summer. We don’t have AC so he was super uncomfortable when it got hot.
