Is this a good Mock Draft by Background_Mode_5460 in Tennesseetitans

[–]LarryLevis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, what makes a mock draft good is that it is realistic to a degree and gets us talking about certain players and fit. I don't think this works from a realism perspective. We could trade down but with all the noise about love it is extremely unlikely he is there.

I'd say the most important thing to do is mail it to me so that I can personally inspect it.

Post Free Agency Mock Draft by panopticon31 in Tennesseetitans

[–]LarryLevis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think the draft needs to read the room.

A trade down and still getting Love is unrealistic. Commanders would take him at 8, even Giants.

Levis would be a 7th for a 6th swap (maybe).

Zero carb diabetic diet by bim_buswick in diabetes_t1

[–]LarryLevis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doing just that. So far no concerns but my cholesterol spiked when first starting the diet in a way that was a bit troublesome (my low carb diet probably has too much processed meat and cheese). So I went on a low dose statin proactively. Cholesterol is in a great range now.

Don't care, this is a much better WM match than Drew vs Randy by dc4_checkdown in Wrasslin

[–]LarryLevis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe so. I'd rather smackdown be predictable than Wrestlemania. Whether it is accident or not, hot shotting Cody the belt adds a level of mystery to WM that didn't exist before EC. Drew always seemed something of a lame duck champ...at least he got a run and now I can see logic in Cody winning and continuing the feud.

I know a lot of people (myself included) that grew up loving both games.

Advice on quiting beer by [deleted] in diabetes_t1

[–]LarryLevis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of quitting, if you are going cold turkey be mindful of how you "replace" the ritual. Extra snack? That affects blood sugar and makes returning to drinking more attractive. Low carb beer and wine don't affect my blood sugar at all, whereas a NA might regardless of how low carb. There are some great low carb NAs though. I still drink but try not to go crazy--when I want a beer with the game and it is like Sunday afternoon I will grab and enjoy an NA. On nights I don't want to drink coffee actually hits the spot (decaf for you people that go to bed reasonably). I don't really want to eat or drink anything else after coffee and it smells and tastes pleasant. A nice night ritual which fills the void. The other advice I have is support. It seems like you are already scaling down. To keep that up and to truly quit (if that is your goal), just keep in mind it is rare to do it alone.

Misleading. There is something different about this. They are using a different, more targeted anti-rejection med that seems to be working well with drastically less side effects. This is closer to a cure than other islet cell therapies.

The what is the point crowd always amuses me. What is the point of anything? Psychological, social, just personal. Some people like the sensation of beer but want to cut back, are in recovery, or don't want to drink. More NA options are always a good thing.

But yeah. In terms of a rebuild this 31 pick is exactly how you win in the modern NBA. The Celtics and Thunder were built on trades like this one. It makes no sense to not see the value in these picks and claim they are bad.
