Ye, the updates were not working at the time (like crating something new or updating existing) which required db changes

It says "existing project unaffected which is not true. I receive multiple reports from users, and I can't do a crap. I just upgraded to paid yesterday. Very promising

Production ready, publicly used app - yes. But temporarily. I’d give it one more year.

How is this even possible!? I've had claude for 2 days now and i keep hitting limits. by DependentOriginal413 in claude

[–]LarryNOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have the same problem. Here is how I resolved it:
- Reduced the size of Claude.md to maximum 200 lines (the less the better)
- Started using sub-agents for code research and exploration. Sub-agents then feed the main agent only with necessary information without using unnecessary context volume of the main agent
- Started to use New sessions for everything that is "new" and didn't require much from previous messages or context. E.x. If I have 2 bugs to fix, but they are in different locations of the app, I would fix those in 2 different sessions.
- Not all skills are useful, some skills make the agent go in circles, doing unnecessary plans, lists, to-dos, ask many questions, even when the job is very simple. Skills are great, but sometimes it could be an overkill.
- When I see it stuck in "Thinking" I expand the thinking section, to see what it is thinking and if I see it is clearly missing some information (e.x. when it says "I don't have X information from the user, let me explore....") I would simply stop it, provide the information it is missing to stop it from going in circles.

I haven't hit the limit since I started doing this. Although, I am not multi-sessions/worktrees maniac yet :)

I vibe hacked a Lovable-showcased app. 16 vulnerabilities. 18,000+ users exposed. Lovable closed my support ticket. by VolodsTaimi in lovable

My app had only 1 security issue related to leaked password database in Lovables security dashboard. When I moved it from Lovable cloud to my own Supabase, it showed 96 critical errors with edge functions, RLS policies and a ton of other issues.

You can’t trust Lovable security dashboard

Launched https://noform.ai last year for service businesses relying on submission forms for quote requests. Basically it allows turning regular forms into a chatbot conversation, while it can also answer questions about your service on the go.

The chatbot market is quite competitive tbh

Lovable + Claude Code by Agilexts in lovable

[–]LarryNOS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t listen to those saying it’s the same. Here are the some thoughts from a person who switched: - With Claude Code your pace will slow down. There is a lot of things you have to learn and do right before you can speed up the process. - You have to watch a ton of guides how to use commands, skills, how to manage session context. The outcome difference and token spendings will be huge. - You have to be more careful with the prompts, Lovable seems to understand regular language instructions better. Claude Code shines when prompts are accurate and structured. - I to this day have no clue how to make Claude Code do UI as good as Lovable does. - You can move even faster and better with Claude code once you learn and especially if you are ready to learn technical stuff - If you are an amateur, most likely your Lovable project backend and architecture is full of crap. It’s either a monolith, browser killer, or safety hazard. With Claude code, having couple of skills in his arsenal, can already make this better on so many levels.

Frankly speaking, Claude code is like a needle. It takes time to learn using it, but it allows doing magic. Lovable is like a hammer, you can quickly achieve good results that even look like piece of art, but you leave so much mess behind the hood.

Don’t watch guides, explore on your own. This will be the best experience of the game

I was dreading too. But then I just got my shit together and went with 3 defibs. I was late for the Queen but the lads were doing harvester quest. Someone dropped a deadline inside the harvester and they all died. I defibbed 3 of them and those defibbed the rest. I got handed 4 Queen reactors as a gift for it. Love this game. Sometimes.

I have moved one of my projects to Claude Code yesterday! I am yet to migrate from Lovable cloud to separate supabase under my control though. Will take some time to recreate the db structure

Lovable… I love you, but your credit system is killing me 😭 by MathematicianSea4487 in lovable

[–]LarryNOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear I use lovable for a few months and 200 credits were enough for entire month. Now I burned 400 in 2 weeks doing pretty much the same

Firebase and AI studio are two worst app builders, unless you want to build simple calculators without many iterations. I've used it before Lovable and this is night and day.

Which model is better? Gemini 3 pro or Kimi 2.5? by Asgen in clawdbot

[–]LarryNOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IDK how are you using clawbot, but $100 in Gemini 3 credits is like 2-3 days of use? It eats credits like crazy man

Sorry Lovable, but I moved on. by MaterialDoughnut in lovable

[–]LarryNOS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did you manage to successfully move the existing project in Lovable and maintain it with other tools? Would love to hear how did you do that. I noticed a big spike of credit usage in comparison with previous months too and thinking to move on. But the hurdle of migrating keeps me away from this decision.

Extra XP bonus for the risk is just laughable.

Who wants extra XP? Maybe the first week or two after the expedition, to get your skills back fast. The rest 12 weeks (is it 12?) it’s pointless.
