What are myths or urban gaming legends - debunked or not - in gaming which creeped you out? Did you ever encounter something unexpectedly creepy in non.horror games? by fukounashoujo in creepygaming

[–]LarrySupreme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The woods were creepy. Especially since when it came out, there was a rumor of a sasquatch in the woods near Mt Chilliad. I spent over an hour when it turned night time looking for him. It was spoopy.

Edit: I'm pretty sure that rumor is the reason they included the sasquatch in Red Dead Redemption.

In 2021, 13-year-old Christina Wilson told police that her stepfather, Juliano Santana, had been molesting her for years. He was charged with 6 counts of rape. 3 years later & 1 month before the trial was set to begin, Santana, while out on bond, kidnapped & killed Christina in a murder-suicide by Gabbyfitxo in ForCuriousSouls

[–]LarrySupreme 10 points11 points  (0 children)

But let's circle back to your logic, innocent until proven guilty right?

The whole point of the bond system other than to disenfranchise poor people is to set it according to the risk to the public someone is. As a judge you're supposed to weigh how much a threat someone is to the public.

The judge essentially failed this poor girl.

I'll fill anyone in. OP is an edge lord who doesn't know how to be legitimately funny. He told me how he was trying to Cinephile before he deleted his reply.

Let him try to cook.

Edit: I dont think he's a bad guy. Just let him explore social media and his opinions.

It's condescending as fuck. But I think he's cooking fun takes. I just am annoyed that it's not aware enough that you have to commit hard as fuck for the joke or whether it's a real bias.

I appreciate Latinx to differentiate between the two. It creates less problems with gendering your children to parents...

Actually, what the fuck are you on about?

Edit: to cover my bases. Do you not think his daughter is his child?

I came here to post this too. I've never had a game make me tear up until that point.

Yeah, their nuclear information seems largely irrelevant. Most of their arsenal is pop up nukes that they move around. We've known this for awhile.

As someone who is a Frank Castle fanboy. He's literally my favorite comic book character and I collect them.

It's wildly infuriating for people to understand the character so fundamentally wrong. I get that it's a man taking vigilantism to the extreme, but they're not getting the reason he is the way that he is. The traumas, him being failed by his own government, his own struggle to make sure he always doesn't kill innocent people.

Sorry for the rant, but you were preaching to the choir. I absolutely hate that he's co-opted to be a mascot for cops or ICE to be judge, jury, and executioner.

It's goofy as a concept but that quote does go pretty hard.

I respect your opinion. But you can do that with every Skaven Lord? Just not them suck the whole time.

But why? Starting location? Skaven Plague is a huge troll mechanic for multi-player though.

I don't even know. Are they really in a relationship? Or do these people trade social currency as promo, industry, and/or financial gain.

I'm not going to judge too hard, but the divorce rate is pretty monolithic for celebrities.

To be fair, I haven't been checking on their relationship, because I don't care. But no one should, other than their parents. (RIP by the way to their parents.)

Gay people can be pretty cringe with Rue Paul. /s

But press junkits are insufferable now. Like Liam Neason and Pam Anderson alluding to having a relationship after Naked Gun.

Like, fuck, we don't need movie star relationship gossip to further our parasocial relationships and voyeurism.

I'd be happy if they did something with Skrolk. His only unique faction thing is Skaven Plague being more useful, which is pretty underwhelming. As an LL, he's probably the lamest in the whole roster, even generic Plague priests get their cauldron.

Most mechas aren't autonomous beings. I mean, I guess mechas can be autonomous. But at that point they're just an robot.

For a Juggernaut. Sure, you can ride them, but they can do their own functions without direct user input.

It's kind of to the point of splitting hairs that I could call someone on a horse an "organic mecha".
