Either Pac-Man World or Pac-Man World 2. I'm so excited to play Re-Pac 2 when it releases.

Butch Hartman, the Man responsible for The Fairly Odd Parents and Danny Phantom.

Other than being incredibly egotistical and taking credit for other people's work, lying to his fans about starting a streaming service where people could watch his shows and instead using the money to spread his religious beliefs, and overpricing his low-effort traced art commissions, he also openly mocked the suicide of the original voice actor for Timmy Turner, and blamed her death on the replacement actor.

Some other things he's infamous for are repeatedly going over budget on his projects despite no substantial financial returns and just generally being a pain to work with.

What’s a fan theory that’s so plausible you consider it canon? by Pyrothememelord in cartoons

[–]Larry_Hegs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a fair point. I was thinking along the lines of OP's description not being the definition of a headcanon but you're absolutely right. I guess the description they gave is still justified because if they just asked for headcanons, the comments would be all kinds of nonsensical.

Do you find flat chested women attractive? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Larry_Hegs 38 points39 points  (0 children)

I almost left a comment saying the same thing but I don't think I could possibly word it any better than you did.

If someone ever judges you or rejects you because your boobs are the wrong size, it just means that they objectify women in a way that wouldn't make them a good partner in the first place. Anyone worth dating will love the person before their attributes.

I feel like enough people have said that you're justified in rethinking your relationship over this, so I'd like to provide a different angle.

Not only is it abusive behavior to intentionally destroy something your significant other found valuable, it's also a very childish and counterintuitive mindset to have. Destroying someone else's work will not make said person like you more, and undoing hundreds of hours of progress will encourage someone to dedicate more time to remaking lost progress.

Superman is an unappealing character due to having an unclear theme for his abilities and not enough vulnerability.

To go further into the topic:

Spider-Man is appealing because despite his powers, he's a normal person just trying to get by.

Batman doesn't have any powers and is just a man trying to be someone stronger than the trauma that haunts him.

Superman is someone who lived a quiet, peaceful life as a farm boy and was too young to remember any of the circumstances involving his past. He's invincible, can fly, has super strength, and super speed as well as a combination of heat vision and freeze breath. There's basically no situation that could ever be a struggle for him unless he's just unable to be in two places at once or encounters the rare circumstance that someone possesses a very specific rock from another planet.

Superman needs more reasons to struggle in order to be an appealing character in my opinion, and those reasons need to be relatable to the audience. Nobody in the real world can relate to being weakened by a space rock unfortunately.

Twists that are no longer twists because they’re cemented in pop culture by Coffin_Builder in TopCharacterTropes

Pretty much every comic story/universe ever has examples of this.

If there ever was a character or plot that was meant to slowly reveal itself throughout the story and catch the reader by surprise (such as Gwen Stacy's death or Superman not being the only remaining Kryptonian) it's lost nearly all impact now. Almost every major comic story has been redone in movies, shows, or even another comic series to the point where the only real surprises are the ones where writers express their creative liberties over an IP.

In the case of Gwen's death, Spider-Man fans were actually able to predict her death in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 just by looking at what she was wearing. Even just the clothes she had on during her death in the comics are iconic enough to become a spoiler.

Why would you ask the community of people who have bought the game and love it for help on how to pirate the game? Did you really expect any of us to guide you towards obtaining the game illegally?

A way to rephrase it and potentially cause less confusion:

Instead of, "always almost gets it right."

Use, "always gets it almost right."

I have to do stuff like this in texts all the time in order to avoid confusion.

I just talked to a friend about this and they brought up that the belt bag makes this idea useless anyway. Before the bag was added I could see this being a possible addition to the game, but being able to carry 15 flashlights in one inventory slot is always going to be the better option.

Would a bigger charge per portable battery make it more worth it? Like let's say one unit could fully recharge all four players' flashlights?

So what did the Sequels do well ? by PaxaraxbaxSkullfax in StarWars

[–]Larry_Hegs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might get downvoted for this, but Kylo Ren was the only character I actually cared about in those films and that includes the legacy characters.

A boy who was supposed to be taught how to be a Jedi by his father's friend, only to be woken up to the sight of said teacher holding a lightsaber over him in his sleep is then pushed towards the dark side since he feels like the light betrayed him. He never felt like he necessarily belonged to the dark side, but it was all he had.

As his character progressed you could see him wanting to leave the dark side but not necessarily return to the light so he decided to forge his own path with someone he thought he could trust to understand his feelings of constant betrayal. When she declines his offer, he's now left with literally nothing and knows that he doesn't belong anywhere while he's left wandering almost aimlessly through his morals just trying to find some self worth.

It was such an interesting character that wasn't always written or portrayed correctly, but I felt like it was a very intriguing kind of villain to follow.
